Good for travellersPosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Proximity to airport and Caltrain. Quiet, clean, good wifi connection.
Cons: Nothing much - for this kind of money it was really good value. The room was on the small side but very adequate.
Location: Hmm - it was quiet. There were a fair number of diners / takeaways / low end restaurants nearby, and a pharmacy and a bunch of supermarkets.
Really good hotel for travellers - close to the airport (and with a good shuttle service) and the Caltrain station. I had meetings in Menlo Park and Cupertino and it all worked out great. Room was nice and quiet, clean and in good condition. They served a decent cold breakfast and had good wifi for free - better than I get in a lot of bigger more expensive hotels. Doesn't seem to be much to do in Millbrae - there's a mall across from the hotel with a sports bar and a few restaurants but it wasn't the most exciting place in the world. I ate at Pete's Café which was reasonable. Guy on the front desk was a bit grumpy - but I'd still recommend this for a couple of nights visiting SF or local area.

Close to airportPosted Mar 29, 2014
The hotel was ok. All we needed was a place to stay after a late night flight arrival, the shuttle will take you back to the airport but would not drop us off at Bart which was across the street. We had 5 pieces of luggage and they offered no help.

Convenient comfort.Posted Mar 28, 2014
Close to the airport, and across from the local BART (subway) system this hotel provided convenient comfort for our overnight stay. Also had a free shuttle to the airport which was the icing on the cake.

Convenient to SFO with free breakfast and shuttlePosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Soy or almond milk at breakfast
The Dylan is an affordable establishment and perfect if you have an early morning flight out of SFO. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and adequate though my wife noted that the carpet felt "sticky" in some spots. In the morning, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (particularly the waffle maker) and the variety of foods available. The shuttle arrived and quickly whisked us to the airport (it is shared by two or three other establishments). I would return to The Dylan if my travel circumstances were similar in the future.

Excellent service from everyone.Congratulation !Posted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: Move the hotel to the middle of San Francisco city. But then we would miss all the fun .
We had a marvelous time , staff was very friendly always eager to assist with whatever we had asked for. Be it an extra towel, making sure that there was always fresh food and plenty of it at the breakfast buffet. Staff at the desk was extremely helpful, when we needed directions around town or booking excursions to Muir Park. Our room was very elegant with tastefully arranged furniture bedding and bathrooms. Superbly clean. We travel a lot and have seen hotels in Spain , Paris Rome etc. but this one we fall in love especially for it's cleanliness. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and is close to shopping, drugstores and restaurants. There is especially memorable Chinese restaurant just few steps on the same site as a hotel just cross the small street. Small disadvantage was the commute to the city of San Francisco , because of the strike of one of the commuter train company and so we had to time our outings carefully. Some trains were slower ,stopping at every station and others were supper fast but stopping only at some stations and you can easily miss your stop so ask first before you board the train. Other then that which was a small trouble but it a was a adventure and if you are pressed for time ask but you should be luckier and there will be no strike of any kind....maybe tornado ? LOL You never know.

Pleasant StayPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: I really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and vicinity. Breakfast was FANTASTIC!
Cons: Continue updating the rooms, my bathroom had not been updated like my friend's room on the second floor.
Location: SFO is literally down the street. A nice BART ride to downtown/Embarcadero. Loved the farmers' market on Saturday at Embarcadero.
I was looking for a hotel close to the BART to facilitate the hassle of driving into Frisco. I literally walked ONE block to the Millbrae Station: wonderful! Had stomach issues: crossed the street to a Walgreen's; I had the option of CVS also. Sushi and Chinese nearby. Though you need to reserve for the shuttle to SFO they are very timely and courteous. Check out the location with Google/Bing/... and get familiar with the area; I had a good working idea where I wanted to do and go and it paid off great for the three days I was there. Great looking rooms: pillows! Safe area at night, traffic is safe and bearable. I will be booking there for the SF Marathon in July or whenever I visit the area and not Frisco in particular. A great little hotel!
