Mini-breakPosted Mar 4, 2014
As Bay Area residents, we don't often stay overnight in the City. We decided to do so in connection with a company event. We got a great room at the Fairmont, with an amazing view of the Bay, from bridge to bridge. The room was comfortable, and our experience at the bar in the lobby was good. Highly recommend the Fairmont, whether you are a visitor from afar, or a local looking for a great, historic hotel.

ImpeccablePosted Feb 25, 2014
The Fairmont in San Francisco is clearly one of the best hotels in the country. Old School elegance, gorgeous refurbished rooms, amazing staff that anticipates your needs. The place is a gem.

Beautiful hotel impeccably renovatedPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: Central location, beautiful hotel, "room and vroom" package was a great deal since parking is so $$$ in SF.
Everything about the Fairmont was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, the lobby, decor, room renovation was all completed in excellent taste. The bed was comfortable. We loved the art deco style. All staff was helpful and friendly. Truly felt we were treated like royalty!

History personified.Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: You will feel like royalty or even the presidential party as soon as you pull up to the valet.
Cons: Cannot think of anything I would of changed about my stay.
Location: This is San Francisco. You will not be walking far from any hotel on Nob Hill.
Staying here was like staying in a museum. You can feel the history surrounding you. On top of the that the rooms, even though a little on the small side, are as clean and comfortable as can be. The bed, linens and pillows were very plush. The staff was by far the nicest and most professional I have met in a very long while.

nice hotel, like the this buildingPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: clean and big room, good service,
Cons: there is no free wifi, and it's better to have Chinese channel in TV.
Location: location is not bad, but it's better to have more good restaurant around there.
my parents like this hotel because it's a beautiful building, and we lived in a new model room, which is really nice room. We love it.

top of the hillPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: The history and grandness
Cons: Not charging extra for using the gym, coffee makers in the room
It was a grand view and setting. If I had paid full price I would have been disappointed as they still charge you extra for everything.

Nice hotel on hill topsPosted Feb 10, 2014
Hotel lobby is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, although certain things you have to ask in order to know, for example free wifi if becoming a club member. There's full of drinks at a charge in the room, but some commonly included things such as coffee maker or tea are left out in the room. We had to ask for a kettle and mugs to boil some water to make our own tea.

Expensive parking, no free WiFi, no free gym access...what year is this?
