EXcellent Stay

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The location couldn't have been better and with the staff to help you get around easily and quickly I loved that.
Cons: They should offer room service. After walking those hills I didn't want to get back up for dinner some nights :)
Location: Union square,, all kinds of shopping and the street cars as well as the hop on and off buses where right there.
We were really nervous picking a place somewhere we knew nothing about but I couldn't have asked for better. The staff was amazing and always more than helpful. Our room was taken care of everyday. It was very enjoyable and very clean

The room that my girlfriend and I stayed in was very clean and well kept. The furniture and decor was modern, the bed comfortable and the ambiance fantastic. The staff there were polite, cheerful and accommodating to our needs and questions. The area in which it is located, Geary and Taylor Streets, is right in the hustle bustle of union square with shopping and dining galore. It was easy to leave the hotel door and be instantly drawn to the activities and doings outside. Highly suggested is the nearby Biscuits and Blues underground live blues club and restaurant; the food and music there were both great. It is located just east of the Warwick, three doors down Geary St. Overall I would definitely recommend the Warwick Hotel if you're staying in Union Square (West).

Very pleasantly surprised!

Pros: Just about everything you could think of.
Cons: Would like to have access to a "business center" for computer and printer access.
Location: You are close to just about anything you would want to see in San Francisco. If not, they will tell you how to get there!
We had stayed in various hotels in the Union Square area of San Francisco on previous visits. We decided to try a hotel that we had not stayed at before. The welcome we received was so pleasant and professional. We felt comfortable right away. Our room (I am a " room snob") was great. The bed, bedding, lighting, etc. exceeded our expectations. There was not one thing we could find fault with...wonderful towels, linens and pillows. So far, this has been our favorite! The staff was so gracious and friendly...we were always greeted with smiles and conversation. We decided that this will be our first choice for subsequent visits to San Francisco. For us, we will always take the path of the smaller, boutique hotel, where service and comfort are quietly provided. Kudos for The Warwick.

Great hotel close to union square

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The very friendly and caring staff and the location... Close to everything you needed.
Cons: Some of the furniture and cabinets seemed to require repair and the elevator seemed old.
Location: Two blocks away from union square , close to Macy's , saks fifth ave and a few shops down from Starbucks and a great breakfast place across the street
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The original room we had was on the second floor with a view of a wall and the room was noisy. It was also my birthday whilst we were there so my husband asked nicely for a different room and they put us on the top floor with a view of everything! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished and spacious. The staff were very friendly and wished me a happy birthday and left me a card as well. Even housekeeping left a thank you note for the tip we left.

Good location and friendly staff

They don't have the business center yet, but the staff were helpful and friendly so we still git checked in okay and had printed boarding pass. The two nights stay went well, and the room was comfy. The only thing I'd like to suggest is they should maybe have two chairs in the room...my husband and I couldn't snack at the same time at the table due to there's only one chair in the room and we didn't feel like sitting on the bed eating is a good idea.

great location and very helpful and friendly staff

Pros: see above
Cons: nothing - keep the staff's enthusiasm up!
Location: see above
the hotel has been refurbished and appeared almost new. our car was directed to park immediately outside while we unloaded our bags and easy-to-understand instructions were given re parking. Reception was a delight and a bit like staff thought we were VIP's! The location is superb, near shops, restaurants and drinking holes. When asked for directions to a restaurant to meet friends, a map was produced a route drawn and we were informed that we did not need the car as it was less than 15 minute walk and safe too. Rooms are like new and the bed a delight! We have been touring for several weeks and I think The Warwick experience was the best. There were several really good hotels but the staff here lifted the experience to the top of our list.

Great staff, newly remodeled

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The new renovations, and mostly the friendly people that work at the hotel.
Cons: Free Wi-Fi. Hi-Def TV channels. Cheaper parking.
Location: Very close to great restaurants, theatres / plays, shopping, Giants Baseball.
This hotel just finished remodeling so everything looks modern and fresh. The bar and restaurant were very convenient and comfortable. Our room was a little small, but was spotless, safe, and met all of our needs. The location was great with easy access to everything around Union Square (including Morton's Steakhouse). Last but not least, the most outstanding thing about this hotel was the staff. From the greeting that we received the minute we pulled-up in front of the hotel, to the folks that checked us in (Linda), to the nice woman that helped me print my Giants tickets just before the game. A big "well done" to the entire staff. I would be happy to stay at the Warwick in San Francisco.
