Nice hotel, but doesn't have any of the basics that you would expect from one. For example, you have to pay for wifi in the room, breakfast, parking. I expected these things so was disappointed when the Westin did not deliver.

Room was clean. Could use some upgrades. Very close to airport which was nice. Our room overlooked the airport. Did not hear too many planes. Would recommend the bay view rooms.

Excellent hotel when flying out of SFO

Posted Nov 5, 2014
Pros: Location to airport.
Cons: Free Wifi
Hotel is nice and typical of a Westin. It also has a free shuttle to the airport, which leaves frequently.

Incredibly comfortable (and quiet) lodging, even though it's just a few minutes from San Francisco International Airport. Their airport shuttles are also reliable and convenient. Westin wonderful!

Contemporary hotel with easy access

Posted Oct 23, 2014
The environment was nice and the staff were very helpful. The room had a nice view and was clean and comfortable. I ate breakfast there one of the days and it was good. Only drawback was few outlets for plugging in electronics and you have to pay for internet.

Great hotel, expensive parking and internet.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Comfy bed, nice hotel.
Cons: Parking could be cheaper and internet could be much more affordable.
Location: At the end of the runway at SFO. There is a park across the street, and Bart over the freeway. IN and out over the freeway too.
This hotel is super nice and in a great area. This part of the bay is my favorite. I got to the hotel after a bicycle ride and the person at the counter was friendly but looked at me like I was not able to afford my room. The parking was almost $25 and DOES have in and out privileges. The internet at this hotel is pricey at $15, but works really well. I loved the super soft beds and really cool rain shower.

It's no Venetian Hotel

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Cons: Cleaning and be sure TV's are working
Dirty shower that didn't drain, TV didn't work. Paid for a deluxe room, nothing deluxe about it. You can hear and feel planes going over.

Expensive for the quality

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Staff appropriately.
We drove in from San Jose to stay the night because we had a very early flight in the morning. We checked in and left our luggage to be taken to our room while we returned a rental car. We returned in about 45 minutes and our luggage was still not in our room. I had to call twice to finally get it. Service at the hotel was slow, we were told it was a 30 minute wait so we went back to our room. When we got back to the restaurant people were just walking in and taking tables without putting name on list, we felt that was bad management. Those folks were getting served before we were. Seemed understaffed. Pretty pricy and the room was mediocre. Won't stay there again.
