Nice people, good locationPosted Dec 2, 2013
Decent motel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was a little small, no tub, but we weren't looking for luxury accommodations. I would definitely stay there again.

A quiet Oasis in San FranciscoPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Very quiet and spacious room, with very comfortable beds and an easy to adjust heating/cooling system.
Cons: Parking lot fills up early, but street parking is available.
Location: Adjacent to The Presidio, with historic architecture and the Disney Museum, Crissy Field, Ft Point, Golden Gate Bridge.
I have stayed in a few hotels in the Marina area of San Francisco on business, all with noisy, small rooms with low grade bedding. Finally I found the best. TRavelodge at the Presidio has it all, large rooms, comfy bedding, and most importantly, quiet! If I did not know that I was only a block from noisyLombard Street, I would never have guessed it. This is definitely now my regular stay when I have business in San Francisco.

Exceptional servicePosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room and amenities were adequate? What made this stay exceptional was the friendliness and helpfulness of the man behind the desk. His directions and suggestions really enhanced our stay. The afternoon cookies were a nice treat too.

Great motel for Pets.Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: Location/dog friendly
Cons: Better breakfast/better coffee
Location: Explore the marina district, the mason center, the presidio
Good location for walking the marina neighborhood, the Presidio, the beach. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Good for dogs being right next to the Presidio grounds. Parking anything larger than a compact car was a problem. The " continental breakfast" was poor quality, but many good coffee shops and bakeries nearby.

Solid recommendationPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Knowledgable front staff thanks to Raymond who gave us important transportation tips along with marking bus routes on a map . We parked our car for free at the hotel and only spent 4dollars a day for buses which included transfers to hop on and off and we truly made it all around town. Clean comfy rooms. A great stay!

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Very quiet relaxing atmosphere next to the Presidio which is an interesting place for walks. Near to Golden Gate Bridge and Marina. Friendly and helpful people.

A Great Little MotelPosted Jun 11, 2013
I attended a course at the Grove and this motel came recommended for its proximity and great service. The staff are very attentive and friendly, my room had been updated and was very clean, and I appreciated being able to grab something quick from the continental breakfast room on my way out in the morning. All in all, good value for the money.
