Close to everythingPosted Jan 30, 2015
Had to cancel my stay at another hotel due to the horrendous conditions of that hotel. I booked online that same morning Villa Florence and they happily received us early before 11 am. The hotel is close to everything- restaurants, shopping, trolley, main streets, chinatown, etc. Its in great conditions and they're even in the middle of renovations.

Awful service, awful experience.Posted Jan 27, 2015
Nothing good to say. I was charged way too much for what I recieved. Avoid at all cost.

Clean, comfortable stayPosted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Convenience, cleanliness and professionalism.
Cons: I have nothing to add.
The room was small, but more than adequate for one person. The BART Powell St. station is about a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of retail options including a 24 hour Walgreens what sells food, coffee etc. Plenty of restaurant options nearby.

SF w/WombatsPosted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Staff was the best.
Cons: Beds and pillows not too comfortable; and heating system loud and sleep disturbing
Location: Its in Union Square - need I say more?
This is a great location - and as parking goes in SF - good idea. I think it is difficult to make some of these old buildings into luxury suites and the Villa Florence has probably done the best that was possible. We enjoyed our stay for the most part

Great hotel location but noisyPosted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The location and staff were great.
Cons: The noise level inside the room from the street.
Location: Walk, shop, restaurants were nearby.
Great hotel location close to Union Square but we had a corner room on the second floor and heard people and cars and noise until it was time to get up. Maybe they could seal the windows or use double pane glass.

An OK hotel, that desperately needs renovation and charges way too much for what they offer.

Tired HotelPosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Staff are amazing. Very attentive and helpful
Cons: Needs renovations and carpets in the room need to be replaced
Location: Great walking location to Union square
Great staff. Nice restaurant. Good lobby. Fitness Center needs equipment updates. Hallways are dim, and could use renovations. Most disappointing was the room. Smelled horrible, overlooking a street where the noise level was too high to get any meaningful sleep. The air conditioning/ heating in the window was old and noisy
