“I like W”
W has the best ambient atmosphere, greatest inhabitants and the best equipped rooms. It's classy, smells funny (that smell makes you want to come back), it's elevators have stereo images embedded so you want to ride all the time. XYZ and bar are awesome, WHATEVER WHENEVER service is flawless. PS Don't stay on the top floor if you don't want to be annoyed by elevators.
“modern, clean, good location”
W was an excellent hotel over a recent business trip weekend. the rooms were clean, large and well-equiped. the hotel is centrally located, modern and design-oriented. there is an excellent bar and restaurant on site though one is within easy walking distance of numerous central-city restaurants and bars or a taxi/tram ride from haight st / castro / mission. excellent.

Good Stay
“Very nice hotel!”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Our room was small, but clean. We would recommend this hotel to everyone!
“Wonderful stay at the W”
Having never stayed at a W hotel before, I was pleasantly surprised. From the avant garde deco, to the light up baby buddhas in the room, to the bliss SPA and products in the rooms, I had a glorious time. Located right in the middle of town with great shopping one block away, the hotel is right next door to the SF Museum of Modern Art.
“W Hotel San Francisco”
I had some concerns about the W given that there are some negative reviews online, but I was very pleased. Everything was great, and the room was very cool. A little more modern than your typical run-of-the-mill hotel room.
“great!!!”

“Superb”
One of the nicest W Hotels I have stayed in. Can't wait to go back. Spectacular views of the Bay Bridge and downtown San Francisco.
“Simply Wonderful”
Amazing. Really modern and funky. They have thought about everything. Everyone should definitely try the cocktails in the hotel bar XYZ. It's a perfect location, right next to the MOMA and near to Union Square. You'd be crazy not to stay here!
