“Great Location With Wonderful View”

The location of this hotel is very close to Pisa but still gives the feek of a secluded get away. The flowers and olive and orange trees offer a wonderful setting. The view of Pisa and the valley below is spectacular. The sraff was very helpful and the food was great.

“An unexpected treasure!”

While the pictures I saw were impressive I didn't really expect it to live up to my expectations. I was delightfully surprised that it was even better! Especially after a long drive from Malpensa to LeCapanne, the beauty of the view and the charm of the hotel were just what we needed to unwind with a glass of LeCappane wine near the pool. Belissimo!

“Great view overlooking Pisa.”

Beautiful gardens, great dining room and food. This hotel is definately on a mountain on a very narrow road. We had to blow our horn going around curves to get up there. There was a communication barrier until we met the main chef who spoke English. We became great friends. He was so helpful which made our stay a success

“Spend some time here”

This is a hotel to spend some time at just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Amazing location high on the hillside. On the long drive up the hill we kept thinking something must be wrong but eventually we came to the hotel. Absolutely beautiful setting. The room and furnishings were fine; could use some paint/updating but were adequate. The point of this place is to go out and enjoy the surroundings, not sit in the room. Great place to bring the wife back without the kids for a long weekend.

“breathtaking views”

Really a gorgeous location. We had a car, I'm not sure if you would be able to get here with public transportation. The grounds are filled with lemon and orange trees, shrubs, and flowers. The casita was comfortably furnished. The on site restaurant had some wonderful food. The trofie (pasta) was exceptional. I would definately come back here.

“Beautiful! But....”

This place was a delight. The view was amazing and the property was rustic and comfortable. My only complaint is try to visit when they are not having a late night wedding. It was so loud we couldn't sleep until it was over at 2am. I feel that when you pay their rates, you should be able to enjoy the night peacefully. Perhaps an earlier cut off time for evening weddings. The hotel suggested a great little place to eat. The food was better than anywhere we ate in Italy.

“Incredible”

This hotel is nestled 2 miles up a mountain . The drive up the mountain was in first gear with many blind curves. Once you get to the top the view is breathtaking. The grounds have been converted from an olive tree farm....the grounds are covered with olive, lemon , organe , cherry and flowering trees . It was a very pleasant experience

“Very remote and hard to find. Call ahead -restaurant may be closed.”

Hotel is well hidden and somewhat hard to find. But when you do finally find the road to the hotel, beware...it is steep, narrow, and no guardrails. Bring your nerves. However, once you arrive the grounds are lovely and the view breathtaking. When we arrived, we found out that the restaurant was closed to host a wedding. I suggest that you call ahead to see if the restaurant is open. Or be prepared to drive back down the steep hill for dinner.
