Close to the airport but still taking one hour toPosted Jun 6, 2015
It took one hour to get there from the airport in traffic, the shuttle only run hourly and only with enough passenger, so there was NO free airport transportation, room was spacious but noisy with car noise , and breakfast on the go was pathetic with some fruits and sugary pastry !

Very nice hotel to stay in San Jose Costa RicaPosted Apr 21, 2015
Very nice hotel, not luxury, but a very good one to stay. It has some advantages over other hotels in the area, free wifi, breakfast and transportation included. The staff is very nice and can recomend good tours depending on what you are looking.

Great Little Adventure.Posted Mar 27, 2015 on Hotels
Upon arrival to the Hotel we were struck by it's charm. The doorman Hans helped us in and we were welcomed by the Manfred at the Front Desk. Every one was very pleasant and accommodating. Our room which was very clean and spacious. Fresh Ground Coffee was placed next to the coffee maker. The bathroom was very clean and nicely appointed. We took a little walking tour around the hotel area which is safe. Very nice swimming pool, interesting Koi Pond. Restaurant was wonderful. Hotel is nicely decorated and in very good condition. Wish we could have spent another night there.

WE stayed here twice on the way in and the way out. Love this hotel. There's a great market up the street. Huge sports bar and restaurants too. Love all the staff here. Very friendly and helpful.

will return to this friendly innPosted Jan 20, 2015 on Hotels
It was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. Big spacious room, very comfortable bed, and on-time wake-up call. Just a few minutes from the airport and free shuttle service if you make a reservation before 4 pm the day before.

Nice place with excellent staffPosted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Friendliess of staff and cleanliness.
Cons: Water pressure in the shower needs to be better. Reception desk should be staffed by more than one person during "rush hour".
It has been a while since we last stay at hotel with staff who can be friendly, helpful and very competent. We usually find hotel staff missing one trait, but not at Adventure Inn. The manager is also usually around and he is just as approachable as the staff. The restaurant is better than average, but their staff will try their best, within reason, to accommodate your needs. The breakfast is good, but of limited range, which could be tiresome for anyone staying a long time. The pancakes and french toast are sugar bombs. They have made arrangements with tourist-plate minivans in case you need transport. Their fees are on par with regular cabs, but you get well-maintained vehicles with very prudent drivers. Finally, the hotel and their staff proved to be both very child and baby friendly.
