Excellent care !Posted Jul 15, 2013
Location: very close to many restaurants and a food store. The mall is a short drive away as well.
Upon our arrival we had an issue with the bed in our room being very uncomfortable. The following day we made a complaint to the manager, Marco. He was very gracious and went above & beyond to correct the issue. We were moved and were completely comfortable for the remaining 7 nights of our stay. The room/apartment had everything we needed and more. Marco also arranged a driver for us during our stay, Eldario. He proved to be very reliable, honest, friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was very helpful with tips about where to dine. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We definitely would stay here again, especially with a family because it was spacious, comfortable and gave us the option to cook. A great big THANK YOU to the entire staff for making our stay wonderful!

Just one night but very comfortablePosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The room or apartment was well laid out, clean and fully stocked for a longer stay than I had.
Cons: Just information about location
Location: Very difficult to find and gated which gave the impression of being in a sketchy neighborhood.
Although it took an incredibly extended amount of time to locate the hotel - no street signs was not their fault but some form of instruction (2 phone calls) other than the "East side of the country club" would b extremely helpful. The staff was polite when contacted but had not way of offering assistance in finding the hotel itself. Unfortunately, my GPS was not establishing its own location so it was not helpful and that was not the fault of the hotel.

Beautiful but uncomfortablePosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was overall great looking and well located. However, one bedroom suites are in the dungeon-like first floor - very dark. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows almost non existent. Breakfast left something to be desired and coffee was terrible. It was well kept though and very secure. The pool and jacuzzi area was nice. They had umbrellas at every building for guest use. Really nice, they just need new beds.

Wonderful Place to StayPosted May 17, 2013
Pros: The People and having a kitchenette
Cons: No sidewalks to on the main street outside the complex to push a strollar
We booked this hotel after staying a higher star hotel 1 week earlier. We loved this hotel. The stay were outstanding, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. We would recommend this hotel for families, or any kind of travelers. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We used the pool, playground and even went for a couple work outs. The man who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport was extremely professional, polite and very helpful. We would stay here again and hopefully we will

Some rooms do not seem fit for purpose!Posted May 12, 2013
Checked into our room. The Safe was not working, they sent an engineer to fix it and he could not. After a long journey my wife decided to have a bath.... the bath did not work, despite turning the tap no water came out. We complained and the response was use the shower! They offered to change our room but that meant packing everthing up again at 11.30pm and walking across the road to their other rooms. After a long day we resorted to making do with the shower which to be honest was not great and had not been descaled for years! We settled in for the night and switched on the Air conditioning. After an hour i wanted to switch it off as it was freezing in our room. The Air Condition unit would not switch off! I phoned reception at 1am in the morning and they sent someone who did not even speak english to try and fix it! He tried to communicate with us but it was hopeless and it was evident that he knew nothing about how to fix it and could not even find how to overide it to switch it off. We complained to reception, they offered to send up some more blankets or again change room at 2am in the morning ! We had to be up for 4am to catch a flight! We slept in a freezing room!! All in all NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

Would have preferred hotel away from San Jose thatPosted May 6, 2013
Pros: Staff friendly. Bed comfortable.
Cons: Internet access and information on how to get around in Costa Rica.
Location: Close to San Jose so if this is your thing...the city, this would be a great place to stay.
Nice hotel. Staff didn't speak much English. Wifi didn't work even after repair person came to room 3 times. TV did not work either but the repair person brought another TV to the room immediately. No maps or brochures of tote actions were available. Make sure that you print your own maps prior to arrival.

Great Hotel, Great LocationPosted Feb 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Awesome value, large rooms, much better value than Residence Inn, I highly recommend this place. I didn't have a car but there are quite a few places within walking distance, and plenty of taxis if you need to go a bit further. Lots of parking if you have a car.
