Holiday Inn Express San Jose Costa Rica Airport

Picked us up at airport; good advice on traveling, helped us book car rental, and other accommodations along our travels.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express near the international airport at San Jose.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because they were very close to the airport and we had a flight departing very early in the morning. The staff were excellent! When I told them we would be leaving before the start of breakfast, they informed me that they would provide us with to-go bags of breakfast as early as 3:00 A.M. Overall, we had a fine stay!

Very helpful, friendly staff!!! Made us feel welcome and terrific with our little girls. Made them balloon animals. They loved it!!!

Great hotel, location to airport (with free shuttle buses) and a few restaurants and the Fiesta casino are very close.

This is a perfect hotel as a stop over to your next location, whether it is another location in Costa Rica or somewhere outside the country. We stayed there the night before returning to the States. It is very traveler friendly. Internet access, free calls to the US and Canada. It is a 5 min ride to the airport with 24 hour airport shuttle, free breakfast or a breakfast grab 'n go if your flight leaves before breakfast starts. The only downside is there are not lots of restaurants close by, there is casino that is expensive and a denny's. The early morning airport shuttle fills quickly, so leave some extra time to catch the shuttle because it may take 2-3 trips before you can get on. Also the grab 'n go breakfast is not much (a juice box, muffin and granola bar) but I left so early I was not hungry. Overall, good hotel for the price and good location. Would stay again!

This hotel was a convenient stop before our next day flight. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There was a variety of places within walking distance for food and entertainment. The room was typical and clean. The complimentary breakfast was well done. This will be a regular stop any time I travel in the San Jose area.

Easy to get to and from the airport. Easiest way to pick up and drop off car rental.

Hotel staff very helpful and service oriented, pleasant and caring. This is the kind of service that you expect but often doesn't get.
