It was a good location to get around by Uber because it was close to everything. The room was good. They charge you $30 for early check in. There were little options for breakfast.

Nice hotel near the city centre
Hotel is well located - it only took 20 minutes to walk to the city centre and is right next to La Sabana Park. The staff were nice and helpful, the room was clean and had most of the essentials (there was no safe), and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again if in San José.

No vaya a este hotel!
Estuve aquí dos noches y realmente JAMÁS volvería. La primera noche fue muy mala, me dieron una habitación con vista a la calle y el ruido era increíble; la gente fuera del casino no dejaba dormir. Las camas sumamente pequeñas (casi que para niños), y la habitación completamente falta de mantenimiento; el televisor no funcionaba y el teléfono tampoco. No había bata de baño, kit dental ni pantuflas, al preguntar en recepción indican que no cuentan con nada de eso. Ni siquiera una botella de agua de cortesía. El room service cobra $3 por llevarte cualquier cosa.Los pasillos huelen a humedad/moho, los cielos de las habitaciones tienen manchas de humedad. El desayuno es EL PEOR de todos los hoteles en los cuales he estado. Variedad muy limitada (a lo mucho 4 opciones). Al preguntar por otras opciones, mandan a la cocinera a hacer un omelette, que sólo tenía cebolla cruda, jamón (que realmente era mortadela barata) y queso blanco. Además la señora muy grosera y enojada por tener que atenderme. Lo mismo con la mesera del desayuno, cero entrenamiento para tratar al cliente. Al día siguiente fui cambiado de habitación y la situación mejoró, pues esta era más amplia, moderna y con una cama grande. Algunas personas del staff de recepción son excelentes en atención. Los de la noche son sumamente groseros, maleducados y además muy desafiantes con los clientes. Hay que pagar $45 por recibir una visita, y NUNCA lo indican al huésped. NO VAYA A ESTE LUGAR!

The property is OK and looks way better in pictures than it is. They were doing some construction work in several areas, and they started super early, and the noise was terrible. I stayed here because there were no other options close on a good note its pretty centric so you can walk to different places specially on concerts on national stadium

Hotel has a strategic location easy to access and to move around downtown San Jose. Breakfast was included in rate making it a great choice for us. Room was clean and comfortable allowing a good sleep.

Overall i had a decent experience. The hotel was clean. Room service changed my sheets and stuff everyday although one day i put a do not disturb sign on and they still came in! My room also had no microwave or mini fridge so that sucked. The tv had a decent amount of channels in English. The views out the window of my room were pretty much non existent.(i was on 2nd floor) the shower was cool although it had no way to actually close the glass of the shower. The beds were a bit firm but i slept pretty well. The breakfast was pretty good.. they had a guy making omelet everyday.. 2 fruit options every day and plenty of other things to choose from as well. If u try to bring a guest to your room they will charge you $40. I didnt like that. Nearby the hotel is a huge park called La Sabana.. Its within a 4 minute walk of hotel. I enjoyed walking there after breakfast. On the weekends its hundreds of people there playing sports. Vendors selling drinks and such. KFC and Subway are within 3 minutes of the hotel. And plenty of other places are within a 10 minute walk or less as well. The hotel also has a casino attached but i never went. And wen u get to hotel they give you a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Overall my stay there was pretty good.

I like this place is very accessible and safe, staff is friendly. In the master suite there is no place to put soap except on the floor, need to add something.

Very clean and excellent customer service. The breakfast area was amazing. It’s a very short bus ride from downtown San José. I will definitely stay at this property again.

This property is a great value and high quality. It is located conveniently between the airport and the city center. A great place to stay if you have a day or too to spend in San Jose before going on to other location in Costa Rica. It's about 20-30 minutes from the airport and has shuttle service for $15/person. It is a short taxi ride to the city center. Excellent food and customer service.
