Pros: That they were very nice solving the problem Expedia had caused. When I booked I did not know that Expedia paid the hotel which real gave me no power.
Cons: I would use the hotel again but not sure about Expedia. I think when you ask and book a room with two beds you should get that or be contacted.
Location: The location is very good if you want to shop! Also I would ask for room on back side as the highway noise can be heard.
The hotel staff was great. dealing with a room problem. We had paid Expedia so we had no recourse with then hotel. Anyway I had booked two deluxe rooms with two queen beds in each room. But what they had for us was one suite and one deluxe room with a King. This would have been okay but I specifically needed one of the rooms to have two queen beds. The other couple were coming from the hospital and they needed the husband who had just had major surgury a bed to himself. And the wife needed a good nights rest as she had been by his side in the hospital for last 4 nights sleeping on small couch bed. They first said they could put a roll away in one of the rooms and I said no way did I want her sleeping on a roll away. That is why I purchased two rooms with two queen. So it took them some time but they were able to give the other couple a room with two queens by doing some juggling as they were pretty much sold out. They said the only problem with the room is that the hotel rest staff were outside their room after closing and talking and laughing very loud. We were on the second floor and we had some very noisy guys outside in the hall at three a.m. being quite loud and obnoxious. But I waited awhile and it finally ended about the time I was ready to call the front desk. WHy people are so rude in hotel halls is beyond me. I think it has to do with alcohol usage!!

Horrified by the lack of service

I reserved 2 nights at this hotel through Expedia, when I arrived and tried to check in they lost my reservation, they then gave us our room with king bed as per our booking, we drop our luggage in the room and go out to have lunch. When we return from lunch our key cards stopped working, so we head down to the reception and we are told there was a mistake and that we were being moved to a new room, the new room was horrible and had 2 queen beds, after complaining the move us to another room with a concrete wall view, we are never staying here again

Nice stay! Close to restaurants, malls and the airport. Even though it is not located at the beach, it's close enough to spend the day at the beach!

Cons: Take a cab from the hotel to ANYWHERE ... do NOT use the Hotel shuttle ... they charge DOUBLE!!
Location: Walking distance to Walmart, Tony Romas ... and a few stores.
Room was comfortable - VERY POOR view!! We had to keep the shades CLOSED - as ANYONE could see right INTO our room ... ZERO PRIVACY!! Food was "okay".

Pros: Location, staff, breakfast, fast accessibility.
Cons: About to jump in the pool, but then noticed the water was pretty cold... Too bad it's not heated.
Location: Great location in Escazu, a couple kms from the main malls and restaurants.
Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff, clean, safe, A+! Not luxurious but no luxury expected either.

Very Pleasant Stay

The hotel is very clean. The staff is very good (they speak english). The free breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel has a shuttle bus that will take you to the major malls/plazas which are close and very good. There is a Walmart in walking distance where you can buy some snacks. The Walmart has a very good cafeteria. The gym is good (free weights, treadmills, etc.) The pool/jacuzzi is very good. We paid nearly half the price of the nearby hotels. You will pay more if the hotel is adjacent to a mall/plaza. Be sure to checkout Multiplaza Mall (Elegant), Avenida Escazu (Starbucks, PF Chang, etc.) and Plaza Tempo. We plan to return next month for a few days. The hotel looks just like the pictures.
