“cheap hotel”
I wouldn't recommend staying here; I had to barricade the door with a chair, and people were coming and going throughout the night.
“Great if you´re going to a hockeygame”
I stay there cause I go to hockeygames. I also like walking around the neighbourhood- there´s a Rosaritas Café that has a great mexican salad, an real nice espresso café across the street, a nice clothing store with local clothes and a used book store- plus a drugstore where you can buy drinks and snacks for your room right next door. The downside is that the place is a bit worn down and you hear all plumbing and people in other rooms. But the hotel has charm- staircase from lobby to second floor is beautiful and the breakfast is quite good. So bring your earplugs and enjoy hockey. But don´t wear your earplugs to the hockey game though that would be wrong
“Oasis”
Surprisingly great hotel. I got use to pay $40-60 per night for parking at SF downtown, so free parking is my first check point. And location. Once got in the room, wow! spacy, desk for work, table for eat and jacuzzy. Although AC is old and breakfast looks cheap, that is free and no problem. Glad to find this place.
“Good Breakfast”
The best thing of this hotel was the complete breakfast buffet. I had been in better hotels for the price. But location if you are going to a Concert or Game at the Arena is convenient.
“Will stay again.”
Good location but mediocre breakfast and no transportation to airport. Room was very clean but bathroom fan old and very noisy (only complaint).
“Will stay again.”
Good location; nice room; mediocre breakfast. Staff friendly; room clean.
“Nice stay!”
Nice and comfortable, very safe. VERY clean room....my hats off to the housekeepers! LOVED the Jacuzzi bathtub. Very well worth the price. Will definitely stay here again as there are occasions where I need to stay overnight in San Jose. Only thing I did not like? The large, ugly decorative 90's motif plate that is right in front of you when you get off the elevator. Did not fit in with the hotel.
“Great Location”
If you are going to an event at HP Pavilion, you can't beat the location...an easy walk from the Hotel.
“Fabulous stay”
The hotel room was a pleasant suprise as it was very big and roomy with nice beds and nice bathroom. It has the room quality of a 5 star hotel. But the free breakfast was very plain; the front desk gave us only two extra bath towels, instead of four requested. Other than breakfast and customer service, the stay was still great.
“Good Value and Friendly Service”
I don't really have much to say about this place. The location is very close to the HP Pavillion. There is a decent coffee shop and resteraunt across the street. The hotel itself was older, but the people were friendly, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The free wifi was zippy.
