“Not impressed.”
The sheets had stains on them. The bed was way too soft. The carpet and furniture needed to be cleaned. The room was way too dusty.
“Quiet with decently fast internet access.”
hotel was quite, which is a big plus for me. Internet was faster then that last hotel i stated at in the area. Though open access internet is never the best policy. Beds were soft, but maybe too soft. Bathroom was really really nice and super clean. Some stains on the carpet in the bedroom. The bedding is a little odd. All in all, i'll likely stay here again next time I need to travel to the area.
“Nice hotel with old world charm”
The hotel is in good condition and very clean. They serve a great free breakfast buffet . The decor is "old world" with European style paintings and statuary . The only wish I would have is that they put newer televisions in the rooms. They are about 7 or 8 years old.
“Clean, Comfortable & Enjoyable”
Everything went very smoothly, we felt very comfortable there.
“Above average - no frills - nice breakfast”
One of the things I liked about this little hotel (~ 45 rooms I believe), was the decor through the hallways (chandaliers, crown moulding, wallpaper, pictures, paintings). It was kinda nice to have a unique feel as I walked back up to my room each night. The breakfast was one of the stronger values of choosing this hotel. I took a look at the workout room...and didn't bother. It was really small - actually it was one of the guest rooms with only workout equiptment in it. The service was average... I would recommend this hotel to someone staying there for business - maybe not a vacation... unless on a tight budget. Oh, and the bed was very comfortable... squishy almost.
“Stuff”
Got to room and the room was not cleaned. Got put in another room. Room had an odor unless you kept the a/c on. Room seemed to be clean. Not sure yet if I would return.
“Nice and clean, very large rooms.”
It was a good hotel room for the price. The rooms are very spacious and so are the bathrooms. Very clean. I would only recommend the management to remove many of the statues.
“"Great Employees"”
My wife forgot her wedding ring one day in the bath room. She called the front desk and the lady went to the room and retrieve the room and put it in a safe until we came back to the hotel. Room was already cleaned, so the staff was very honest. Food was very good as well.
“Disappointed”
I really wanted to like the hotel because of the reviews I read. Before we arrived, I called to request a crib but was told it was broken, so I had to purchase something for the baby and bring it with us. The room was way too warm when we entered. And after we returned the second day, our air had been turned off again, leaving the room stuffy and hot again. The bed was too soft. The carpet needed to be cleaned. Our room didn't have bathrobes. The free bottled water only includes one bottle of water per person the entire time, and not one free bottle each day. The fitness center is a hotel room with a few pieces of exercise equipment in it. When we went to bed the second night, we noticed a mysterious stain on our sheets. We were so tired we just went to sleep without having them changed. The next morning, I went to the front desk to request to have fresh sheets put on. Before I got my full request out, I was brushed off and told that housekeeping would take care of it. The stains were still there that night. We called the front desk, and my husband was handed a sheet set a few minutes later for us to put on the bed ourselves. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. We went twice. The staff was slow to clean dirty tables and restock dishes and food (some food wasn't restocked both days we went). The food that was there was okay, but we were there waiting for food for a long time and ended up leaving disappointed both days. I guess you get what you pay for.
“Not that impressed”
the hotel was nice. The major complaint i have was that the meads were up and cleaning at 6am. opening and closing doors and vacuming. the continental breakfast was over by 9am (so by the time we fell back asleep we over slept and didnt get breakfast)/
