“Sunnyvale's decent Hotel”
Good Hotel with best complimentary breakfast and service.
“Convenient, but a little old”
The hotel was literally located next to the office that I came for a workshop training session for 4 days, so it was ultra convenient. It must be noted that it is absolutely essential to have a rental car if you plan to venture out since there is nothing within walking distance from the hotel in terms of stores and food. I had read about room renovations from the reviews, and I asked for one when I checked in, but alas, I was told there were none available. The room I was given was very spacious, average bathroom, nice LCD flat-screen TV, fridge, microwave, and desk with free wi-fi. Only complaints were the musky smell of the room and the old, ugly green carpeting. Would stay here again if I came here for the same training session, but if I were coming to the Silicon Valley for other reasons, I would probably seek out other hotels.
“Maintain high quality service compare what we paid for”
Service was alright and room condition was OK. Need little upgrade interior wise since this hotel building looks old and fade. Breakfast quality was ok except they need more service crew since we have to ask several times for main dishes which was completely out when we stop by around 9:00AM. Overall, I satisfied whole experience based on what I paid for. Recommeded for business trip people but not quiet fit with family trip.
“Comfy Room”
The room itself was wonderful. The beds were comfy and clean. The location was a little hard to find from Map quest. The only thing is that the rooms have large windows and even when shut you can hear the kids swimming in the pool. The hot breakfast was just what we needed to start our day.
“comfortable, good breakfast, nice shower”
comfortable clean beds and pillows, good hot breakfast, nice shower with good water pressure. staff was very friendly
“More than just a commuter hotel...”
Hotel staff was very accommodating - placing our family in adjacent rooms, allowing late checkout since the next guests weren't onsite yet, promptly responding to requests during the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations with something for every member of my picky family to enjoy. The pool provided a well used and pleasant entertainment for my 5YO. The business center was well stocked and easy to use. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
“Nice hotel for a short stay”
I really liked the cleanliness of my room and the surrounding neighborhood. There was a complimentry breakfast in the morning, which was of really good quality. I ate outside most of the time, so didn't really get a chance to have dinner / lunch at the restaurant. Overall i am very satisfied and would recommend it to my friends.
“Good but can be better !”
All the service item of hotel are OK to me but just one thing there's no meal service in hotel's catering during the weekend time and also there's no restaurant around . It cost too much if I just want to extend my stay for 4~5 hours after the official check-in time and made me no choice to leave hotel earlier to have the shuttle to SFO airport very earlier .
“Summer 2010 Stay”
I liked the hotel a lot except in one IMPORTANT detail. The next morning at 10:30 am I went to the hotel desk to inquire about something. The person I met was an elderly guy (white hair, stiff face, cheap grayish suit) who was on a computer screen and never looked up at me. I talked to him loudly and he looked at me once and said, "Checking out?" then went on with his screen. I said emphatically , "No!". Then I stated what I was inquiring about. He gave me a "no nonsense" look - hardly what I want when on vacation! I judged that this guy did not want to be disturbed on what he was doing. I am a customer at the reception and he is hardly attentive to my needs! Does he know it is because of us that he has a job with this economy? I did not like this at all and I told him right there that had I known about this kind of "lukewarm" service I would not have booked this hotel. He did not even move an eyebrow or answer - his eyes right on the screen. I almost thought he was just being nasty to me. "Customers first" policy does not need any elaboration. The goo thing is that next day when we were checking out I was determined to deal with this guy. He was not there, and I met a nice young woman who was very nice to us. My recommendation: Pls do not have this old guy again at the reception - he will dramatically affect your business - too stiff in his old ways to be remotely welcoming to guests!
“Great Value”
Very reasonably priced king jr suite. Clean, comfortable and roomy. Across the street from nice county park for long walks. You will need a car for dining and shopping - none walking distance. Included modest buffet breakfast which was convenient.
