“Finally”
This hotel is just North of Cisco's campus [east end]. It was built relatively recently [much newer than most other hotels in the area] so the rooms are great. Reception was friendly, wifi was free as was breakfast. Situated beside a plaza with shopping and dining (including fast food like In-and-out and great sit down)..
“Hilton Garden Inn Milpitas”
Great place to stay. Everyone was friendly. they have all u can eat breakfast for a great price. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
“Very comfortable lodging in San Jose at a reasonable cost”
In San Jose for meetings at Cisco which is under 10 min away and an easy drive. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are generous, tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and couldn't ask fro better pillows. The breakfast, though not included, was of higher quality than most and worth the price. My only complaint was the heavy heeled guest in the room above who arose promptly at 5:30 each morning. I never realized one could do so much walking (or marching?) in such a small area. At other times I found the room to be fairly quite.
“Stayed in Hundreds of Hotels for work and pleasure and NEVER had this happen before.”
The room I got was on the first floor at the end of the hallway near an exit.At Approx. six on Sunday morning I began to here a lot of noise outside my door in the hallway.I assumed it was some inconsiderate person who was staying at the hotel.I could clearly hear a male voice holding a conversation with other people in the hallway. The door which exited the building was being opened and allowed to slam shut quite a bit. At about 6:30 a.m.The person who I could clearly hear speaking in the hallway walked by our room and tapped on our door with a key.A male voice said "time" in a rather stern tone.I could clearly hear him walking up and down the hall doing this to a number of the rooms.I assumed that this guy was chaperoning a sports team or church group and was waking up a group of people. Maybe he had mistaken me for someone he knew. I little while later my phone rang which realy blew my mind because I had not requested a wake up call.especially considering no one I knew knew I was staying at this paticular hotel. At this point it would be impossible to go back to sleep. So I threw on my pants and went out in the hall to see what was going on. I Looked at the room right next to mying to see where all the noise was coming from. To my surprise I saw it was a maintenance office. I turned and started heading straight to the front desk. When I was halfway down the hall I could hear male voice coming in from the exit door. It was one of the maintenance guys who worked at the hotel.
“Would definitely stay there again”
Nice comfortable stay. I would have liked it better if the vanity was not in the same enclosure with the shower. Makes it hard when there are more than one when trying to get ready. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice.
“Business in San Jose”
I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions and everytime I have a great stay. Lots of local restaurants and location is great right off of two highways.
“Not at all impressed”
We stayed there on a Thursday and Friday. Friday morning we were woken up at 8:00 by the cleaning staff who were very loud and could not go back to sleep. The cleanliness and comfort of the Hotel were ok. We were very displeased when our credit card was charged $200 without our authorization and when we called they said it was for a cleaning fee and that we smoked in the Hotel, which we didn't. When I contacted them they said the manager would have to call us back which she did. After I spoke to her she said she would investigate the matter and call me back which she never did.
“Great value”
Hilton Garden Inns nationwide seem to all have a great, consistent quality about them. Especially for the price paid, they are a terrific value. Open parking and free internet are huge on the road. Great chinese food/dim sum nearby! Will definitely continue to pick Hilton Garden Inns in the future
“going back”
nice one
“Good business hotel”
Hotel is very good for its class.
