Happily surprisedPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Clean upgraded rooms
Cons: Food selection in the bar should be expanded
I wasn't expecting much, having never stayed at a La Quinta before, but this was very nice. The rooms had recently been completely redone, and the room I stayed in was one of the best I've had all year.

Ok for the moneyPosted Nov 21, 2013
The walls are thin so you can hear a lot of noise in the parking lot. The maid did not replace my wash rags and then the staff told me they had none available in the entire place.

Pros: Everything, I don't have one complaint.
Location: It is close to the airport, which was nice for me. And close to my training facility on Orchard street.
I really enjoyed my stay at your Motel, everything was done professionally. From the front office staff, to the continental breakfast to the house cleaning. One of the best experiences I've had. I have been traveling to training seminars for my profession for over 20 years and find that this facility is one of the best hands down. You should be very proud of the facility and entire staff. The front office staff are extremely professional and helped me find a great sea food restr. Very grateful to all, and if I have to come to San Jose again, I prefer to stay at this same Motel. Thank You

Pleasant surprise...Posted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Clean, near restaurants and airport. Bed was more comfortable than other hotels in this category.
Cons: The rooms aren't the biggest, but that can't be fixed.
This is not a LaQuinta of old. Very remodeled, up to date, new everything. Clearly they are looking for a hip, modern vibe. Staff was great. Room very clean and comfortable. Picked this as a one night stop because it was near the airport. I wasn't expecting much but I was very happy with this choice and would stay there again.

Comfortable & delightfully renovated hotel!Posted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: The modern & hip decor and appliances. Also the location is right next to The Airport that's a plus if you don't have a car.
Cons: The size of the bathroom is a bit small and the sink is outside near the door, I would have liked the bathroom to be a bit bigger.
Location: The location is right near SJC Airport very convenient and close to freeway to access downtown. There is a Burger King within walking distance.
After endlessly searching for hotels in San Jose, I came across La Quinta Inn & Suites San Jose Airport. La Quinta Inn & Suites is conveniently situated steps away from SJC Airport, allowing the hotel to provide free shuttle service for all guests. I flew in from LAX and stayed for 2 nights from November 10th - 12th and let me tell you it was a pleasant surprise of a hotel! I chose a room on the second floor with a King Size bed, it was so comfortable and the pillows were so plush, I had a great nights rest. The decor was very modern and the blue & purple colors really complemented each other! I loved the silver couch chair it was very hip & comfortable to watch tv on the flat screen. The hotel's bathroom is a bit small, and the sink is located outside the bathroom which is not a big deal but I would have liked it to be a little more roomier. The room even has a microwave and coffee maker which came in handy one night that we decided to order pizza from the amazing pizza place on one of the room menus! There is free continental breakfast each morning served till 9:30 am it was tasty and filling. The front desk was very polite and helpful there for your service 24 hours. The lobby is very hip and modern and there is also a full bar in case you want a drink. The location is perfect and you won't be disappointed if your looking for something affordable and close to the Airport! Definitely would stay here again.

Exceeded my Expectations!Posted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: Room lay-out and in room amenities, including hand-held shower head. Staff was friendly before and during stay. Location was perfect for my schedule.
Cons: Perhaps extend hours for breakfast service to help guests who have early AM calls to take from their rooms, serving through 10am would have been cool.
Location: At this location there is a Jack In The Box and Burger King right next to the property, I did not go to either, but at least you have options to eat.
The brand and chain has never been among my favorites or routine choices when I travel for work or play. I had limited choices and chose this option at the last minute for a business trip. Booking was easy through Expedia and there were no issues when I checked in. Staff was super friendly both on the phone and in person. The room was really a surprise. Far more modern and updated than I would have expected. Great desk, TV and room layout...many hotels, even premium chains, screw this up by ignoring things like where the TV is in relation to the desk, or where outlets are located when the guest need to charge multiple devices. It was a great layout. I had read that the hallways were not air conditioned so to avoid the HEAT tunnel, I walked outside to an entrance closer to my room, no problems or issues, easy...since I was at the far end of the hallway in relation to where the front desk was, this was an easy choice. I did not leave my room early enough to enjoy the breakfast, but I did appreciate the microwave and in-room refrigerator, again many top chains don't have these amenities and when you want or need them, it makes a stay away from home easier. Overall, I was impressed and have whole new respect for the La Quinta chain. La Quinta San Jose Airport will now be on my list of options for future trips. One minor note, due to its proximity of the airport, you can of course hear the planes but it was really not a big deal in the end.

A surprise of a hotelPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Rooms, bed, breakfast
Location: Easy access to the airport and 101. Not much around the hotel. A 10 minute drive to restaurants, shopping, etc.
The hotel has been recently redone and the rooms are great. Spacious, comfy bed, HD TV. Plus the hotel has great amenities - free, fast wifi, free continental breakfast with numerous options that vary by day. Friendly staff. The only "to know" is that it's a little off the beaten path. Close to San Jose airport, but about a 10 minute drive to restaturants, shopping, etc.
