no sheets or towels

The checkin was great and the first night was wonderful. Upon returning from our days events on the second night we were surprised to see that no sheets were changed and no towels were changed. The whole room was never cleaned. the desk clerk said that he had no one to accomadte our needs so we had to be moved to another room. I was really upset about the whole matter because it was late at night and I just wnted to shower and get to bed.

Pros: location and beds were nice, staff was nice.
Cons: bathroom was dirty. outside hotel was the bad dump smell from down the road. walls are thin as wells as the floors. could hear the people upstairs

Comfortable, pet-friendly hotel

We needed a last-minute hotel and found this one on Expedia. Description sounded too good to be true for the rate, but it turned out better than we expected in all aspects. The hotel is very conveniently located and is surrounded by good restaurants within a short walk. Hotel staff are all exceptionally gracious. Room was large, clean, and comfortable and well appointed. Liked having a full-size fridge, as we were road travelers. Our only negative surprise was the $75 pet cleaning fee charged upon check-in; there was no mention of this on Expedia's website.

Good place

Pros: Price, cleaness
Cons: More places to sit and eat breakfast
For the price that I paid, it was really good. Plenty of space in the rooms and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good too as well.

Good option at McCarthy Ranch

I usually stay at the hotel next door, but for whatever reason, that hotel was one hundred dollars a night more the weekend I stayed. This hotel was okay. Not bad, not fantastic. Pros: Good pricing, Kitchen area is nice if having an extended stay, close to a lot of food options Cons: Fridge is noisy, rooms are dark

Overall, our stay was great. The hotel itself is clean with no noticeable wear and tear. Every appliance in our room was operational. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, but there's also an in-room kitchen to cook indoors. We really enjoyed the smells in the hallway of Indian food cooked by the guests. However, the service was a bit apathetic. The receptionist who checked us in made a smug remark about where I work (Elk Grove, CA), that it sounds like it's in the Sacramento area (indeed it is, but what's that supposed to mean??). I didn't bring my business cards, but wanted to enter in the gift card raffle. He said he didn't see any other way I could enter the raffle. I then asked him for a sticky note to write down my contact info, and he simply ignored me. Well I grabbed one from my room, wrote my info down, and entered anyway.
