Clean, friendly hotel. Needs upgrades though.
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, Friendliness, Kid friendly, good free breakfast, close to everything
Cons: Old fixtures, old TV
Location: Great location. Center of the South Bay
Everything about the place is great, except all the fixtures, furniture, TV etc are old. Its like going to your grandparents house. Its comfortable, people are nice, but all the things are really old.

The Maple Tree Inn is good but not great
Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: Everything except for the food, as described, above For any bird lovers, they have two pet caged birds in the hotel lobby.
Cons: The hot food selection.
Location: The Maple Tree Inn is located on East El Camino, between Fairoaks and Wolfe Road in Sunnyvale. Next door is a shopping center with a Marie Callender.
Overall, I was satisfied with the Maple Tree Inn. The one area where I had minor disappointment was with the food. For breakfast, there was a wide variety but I was disapponted with the hot food selection. Every day, there was what appeared to be from frozen round fried eggs, very bland. There was no opportunity to get an egg omelet of any kind. The so-called dinner(served Monday-Thursday from 5-6:30PM) was really blah...very little selection. On the other hand, you could get a wide selection of beer or soda. I do want to emphasize that I enjoyed my stay at the Maple Tree Inn despite the issues, above. The hotel staff was outstanding!!!

I was very happy with this hotel. Clean, friendly, comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. As a bonus, there were a lot of grocery stores and places to eat nearby.

Great Value in Santa Clara
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: Great breakfast selection!
Cons: Could have been more closet space.
Location: We were visiting with family, and it proved to be a very convenient choice.
We had a very pleasant stay in the Santa Clara area, and our experience at the Maple Tree Inn was a big part of that. We selected the Maple Tree because of the reviews that we read, and they were spot on. The staff was very professional and courteous; the breakfast each morning was excellent; and the room was spotless each day. Our expectations were more than met. Great job, Maple Tree Inn.
