“Good Quality Inn in Mountain View, CA -- would stay there again”

For the price and location, this Quality Inn is worth it if you need to be reasonably close to Castro Street (by car) and the 101.

“Comfortable hotel if only for sleeping (with earplugs)”

I chose this hotel because it was close to the place I was going for work. The way from and to by bike was really nice, which is uncommon in the area. My room was giving straight to US 101, which means it was quite noisy (although much less than I had expected thanks to good windows). The bathroom space is very limited but contains the necessary, and the room was big and comfortable. The only really negative point was the breakfast: it was by far the worst hotel breakfast I ever had, with little choice, bad products and really greasy food.

“Good hotel, no complaints”

Very good hotel. I chose it because of location (walking distance to where I needed to go).

Area recommendations

Castro Street in Mountain View has lots of restaurants. The Computer Museum across the highway is also interesting for nerds.

They muffed my wake up calls and newspaper by the door. Breakfast area was a zoo. No overhang by front door made for soaking wet cab pick ups.

“Affordable Hotel Near Downtown Mountain View and Five Minutes from San Jose Airport”

I enjoyed the hotel for 4 nights with my kids. A cab ride from San Jose Airport is approximately $42 with a tip. A few areas that need improvement: 1) The staff was friendly, but the cable system is hard to negotiate and they can not help with that. 2)It is missing a pool 3)The candy in the snack machine was 2 years old.

You can walk to downtown Mountain View - but not with kids.
