TV problems

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: friendly and helpful staff
Staff was unable to get a TV working in our room. 4 times a tech came to the room and was unable to get the tv working properly.

Bad value deal

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Cons: Long overdue for a renovation or a better building.
This is a standard business hotel. The staff is helpful and all, the rooms are clean. But the property is terrible, especially when accounting for the price they charge. It is sandwiched between the freeway and the rail tracks. The walls are paper thin and the plumbing incredibly loud. So when one is not woken up by a showering neighbor, the freight train does it.

Desappointing

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Service at Restaurant.
Cons: Rooms. Eliminate noise of water pipes and get rid of musty smell.
Location: Good location.
Room had a "musty" smell. Clerk at front desk not the most polite or helpful. For $280.00 a night [Internet Special] or regular price of 350.00, rooms definitely need attention.

Great place~

The staff was very professional and helpful. The feel of the hotel is very calming and loved the pool set up in the middle of the hotel with the open views from the dinning and lounge. It even has laundry on site and allows dogs! I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Pros: Great staff!
Cons: Nothing comes to mind...
Location: Close to downtown and to Stanford University.
The location is close to Stanford campus. Easy access. However, the best aspect of the hotel is the excellent staff!

The hotel has a nice location, close to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. The ambiance is excellent. The pool is clean and warm in June.

Good hotel, great location, but pay for internet

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Nice hotel and beautiful yard. Good location - walking distance to University street
Cons: It's a Sheraton, so asking additional fee for internet connection is not really in line with my expectations.
Location: Location is good - short distance from many good restaurants
Nice facilities, good service but it's about time to stop asking extra fee for internet. It's Sheraton and it's Palo Alto! Internet should be like elecricity

Nice hotel close to Stanford

Called for toothbrush and toothpaste that never arrived but OK. Opted to stay 'green' however unlike other hotels, beds weren't even made nor were rooms tidied

Great price for last minute travel

Posted Apr 7, 2014
My husband and I planned a last minute overnight and we were looking for something not too expensive that was close to shopping, dining and the spa we were going to. This fit the bill and we had a lovely time. We did have a problem with the tv not working but the front desk sent someone up to the room right away even thought it was 11:30pm.
