Shows it age!!!

This is a nice hotel but it does show it's age. It's kept up but doesn't have the modern look.

Wonderful hotel!

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The spacious reception area. The shops. The people.
Cons: Just the bed. :-)
Location: I wish I had time to visit the Art Museum next door. I was there for the Oprah thing and really had not time
The only thing I would like for them to improve is get the "Westin" beds! That is truly unimportant in the overall scheme of things. The food in the lounge area was great!

It's not a bad hotel, but isn't deserving of it's reputation.

Pros: Its rooms, lobby and security
Cons: valet parking
Location: Mortons, Scotts's Seafood, Museums
I found the hotel to be very comfortable. It was only minutes from the airport and well situated downtown. It was surrounded by excellent restaurants. I would recommend to any nice traveler.

No 'Petty' issues.

Stayed here to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers/Steve Winwood. Checked in at 12:30! Beautiful room on the 16th floor (1609). Like many rooms, it has the corner view. Big room. Big bathroom. Good room service. (Pizza and breakfast). Nice stay! And, a great concert!!!

It is a nice hotel in the center of downtown.

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: clean, neat, and roomy
Cons: The beverages in the hotel is quite expensive. The prices should be reasonable so guests can enjoy them. Only valet parking is available.
Location: Contin'd, need to have self-parking for guests who want to park their own cars. We had to park our car in the garage located under another building.
I really enjoyed the comfort of the room. Even we had to walk through the hallway maze, the hotel is neat and nice. The pool is only for adults, and my daughter could not enjoy her swimming, but that was alright. The spa looked clean so was the pool.

Fairmont Hotel - San Jose

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Ours was an overnight stay while attending a wedding & reception from out-of-town. The room was nice and the staff was curteous. The Lobby Floor was crowded and has an ILLOGICAL floor plan that makes it hard to find the Registration Desk. We were disappointed by no complimentary breakfast for the elite price of $270 w/ taxes.
