It was just ok. A little dated. The smoke detector was broken. I did not realize that until the toddler was asleep. The bathtub was disgusting.

Easy walking to San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. Dining options in hotel. Valet parking efficient. Staff friendly. Surprisingly quiet after 10pm so easy to sleep.

Wonderful beds and bedding. Excellent service. We loved our first night so much that we decided to stay an additional night and Jordan at the front desk was able to make it happen for us!

Really comfortable beds. The lobby area carpet definitely needs to be cleaned or replaced. Make sure to read their little waivers where you could be fined at their dis or kicked out.

We enjoyed the old charm of the building. Unfortunately we were unable to dine at the restaurant and were unable to get room service after 10 pm. Otherwise, it was comfortable one night, however the bathroom was a little too small. Our experience would have been better if there was an open bar available for a drink. The lounge area was basically dead which is quite a shame for such a nice open space.

This hotel is in a lovely historic building. It's really beautiful. The room/bathroom weren't huge- but it was comfortably sized and had everything you might need. The bed and bedding were also comfortable. All the staff were polite, pleasant, and very accommodating. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again!

Staff was pleasant, although a little scarce and rushed. The hotel is nice although room was tight, especially bathroom. Have to use valet parking which is pricey. But it is very convenient for downtown San Jose.

This property is old, the beds are so small for two adults. My husband I were so uncomfortable our entire stay. The rooms are tiny. If you plan to travel with two adults and two kids I would suggest getting two rooms.
