Hot tub was not in service, there was no pool, but we really were pleased with our stay. The room was a bit small however. Thanks,

Clean, quiet, & budget friendly
Posted Jan 29, 2013
The hotel was very clean and offered a friendly breakfast nook area with a breakfast buffet included. It was a quiet environment with a cutesy Asian-esque feel. They do have a couple of amenities, but if you're expecting a full on gym, spa, and such, you might want to look elsewhere. If you want a simple place to stay on a budget, this is definitely the place. If we stay in this area again, we'll definitely be back.

Pros: clean and great staff and cookies
Cons: Leaving
Location: A little hard to find at first but I'm not a good navigator either.
This is a wonderful Hotel. The rooms are very clean, the setting is quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are great and the price very reasonable. Great Hotel!!! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Pros: Convenience, price, clean.
Cons: Front door on street. Usually, I stay in places where I enter a lobby before going to room. As a woman traveling alone, I felt a tiny bit uneasy.
Location: Convenient, seemed safe, but as a woman traveling alone I would not walk around to restaurants at night.
Convenient, easy to get to my 8:15 am appt at Stanford. (There would probably be traffic delays at every stoplight on Camino Real between 8:30 and 9:30). Breakfast convenient, although I wish they would put bottles of juice and milk out on table at least until 8:30 or 9:00am, rather than in the refrig--when 6 people are rushing to get to early appt, it's cramped in the corner and we are bumping into each other, trying to discover and reach for what is available. Front desk staff receptive, responsive. Yes, I would return.

best of it's kind

Pros: Beds and garden
Location: close to everything
Quiet, calm, even though on busy street. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Yes, you do have to watch out for the bed platform corners, but they are padded..not a problem for us. Excellent breakfast with everything you could want. Our back door opened into a lovely garden with water features.

Everything was good, including a hot breakfast that included eggs and non-instant oatmeal.

Excellent low-cost lodging!

This place is a great value--very clean and tastefully decorated, with lots of extras that you usually don't get at this price; for example, a full hot breakfast, gourmet coffee in the room, thick bath towels and a nice terry robe and slippers. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent for anyone visiting Stanford U., Palo Alto, Menlo Park or Mountain View. I would definitely stay here again.
