“not impressed would not return”
the place was a dump would not stay there again under any cercum stantances
“NEVER AGAIN!!!!”
The motto "you get what you pay for" is true. The room was small, the bathroom was smaller yet, there was an unidentified oder in the room, traffic noise was loud, the TV remote didn't work and the single pane window rattled with the wind. Never again!!!!!
“Not impressed, but good location for Stanford Univ”
The location was good if you're visiting Stanford University. However, the price was more than what the room was worth. The hotel was not very clean, and the individual at the front desk was not polite (e.g., he gave the the impression that asking him a question was a huge imposition).
“okeydokey”
Will stay there again. A basic hotel at a basic price. While it does not have the pampered amenities of a more expensive hotel, it was what you need; ironing board, hairdryer, wireless, refrigerator, microwave, coffee, etc. It was quiet, clean, safe and convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. (Suggestion: Put ice tray in bathroom window to secure lock. Made me feel safer.) While I missed the luxury of other hotels, with the money I saved I was able to splurge on dinners, entertainment, and gifts.
“Not impressed at all. Very old and run down for the money we paid.”
We felt we were staying in a dive. Very old and not in very good condition. Very disappointed in the "continental breakfast." Didn't start until 7am even though we had asked if we could get in at 6:30am to grab something before heading off to a horse show. Doors were locked tight and nobody responded to the outside buzzer near the front door. Every day the maids only left 2 bath towels even though we had 4 people in the room. Bathroom was icky! Shower stall leaked and everything in the room seemed old and in disrepair. TV didn't work until they came and replaced the satellite or cable box. Very disappointed in the continental breakfast. Had choice of 2 cereals, bagels and bananas. There were a few prepackaged pastries that didn't look appealing at all. While in the office one day we heard the clerk agruing with a cople about them getting a discount rate for there room. He kept saying they should have presented a coupon or something before checking in. They were from another country and were having a very hard time understanding him and he was just being rude. I felt bad for them. We paid an average price for our room but wished we had found some other hotel instead. Friends of ours that paid the same amount had much nicer and better quality rooms down the road. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone.
“i would like to stay there again if in area”
very nice
“relief with a leave”
carpet was wet and dirty, smelly small room with the bad lightining
“Ok for the price”
I just needed a place for the night. It was okay for the price. Wouldn't stay for a long time.
“Travelodge in Palo Alto”
Needed a place to stay near the VA Hospital in Palo Alto. Found the Travelodge on Expedia and made a reservation. Well located on El Camino with easy access to local restaurants and the VA Hospital was within an easy drive. Had a fine dinner at the Fish Market nearby.
