Loved the experience. Everyone was so welcoming. Family oriented hotel. The free breakfast and happy hour made our day, every day.

Nice Hotel ! ! Close to everything

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Hotel was perfect. Didn't mind the resort fee , because my family of 5 took advantage of the morning breakfast and the evening happy hour with snacks. The only downfall was the parking fees ($18/a night )

Excellent hotel for the price

Posted Mar 28, 2015
This hotel was a excellent for the price point. The facilities and rooms were in great condition and the staff was accommodating. If you are looking to "experience" San Juan, then Old San Juan is a better option. If you are looking to "beach it", you may be happier at a hotel on the beach. But if you want to be close to a little if everything (including the airport) and venture both around the city and outside of it... This is a great launching point.

18% Hotel Fee per day

Posted Mar 26, 2015
Please read the fine print when booking at this hotel. I booked 5 nights stay and they charged me 18% per day. The parking is not cheap as well it's $18 per day. The grounds and facility was beautiful. The casino was nice and the happy hour everyday was great. It's a 5 minute or less walk to the beach. Just don't call the front desk from the room. You'll never get anyone. I had to call the hotel number itself and press a # to speak to the front desk and then they answered.

Dirty hotel in nice location

Posted Mar 25, 2015
We arrived and were put into a 2 bedroom suite. There was trash in the hallways and water leaking from the fountains onto the floor in the lobby. The pillows had no pillowcases and when we pulled the sofa bed out, cookies, Cheetos, and candy fell on the floor. The sheets on the sofa bed were dirty. There was a handful of hair on the bathroom floor. We notified the desk, and went to the beach. The beach attendant was missing, and it took an hour to get lounge chairs and towels. For $500+ a night we expected more. Because it was an Expedia reservation, the hotel told us they couldn't offer any rate reduction.

Complicated moving from floor to floor

Posted Mar 23, 2015
I had multiple rooms booked for my nephew wedding. They only give two keys per room and the keys are needed to go up in the elevator. It was very difficult to have the people getting ready for the wedding going from room to room as make up, cothes, etc. were needed.

Nice hotel but not worth $$$$

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Free happy hour with nachos
Location: We choose the location because it was close to the airport. I didn't feel safe at night walking to restaurant.
Pool area was not as large as I expected. A lot of fees added on to nightly rate. Resort tax plus two others. We got to the beach late at 3:30, no towels left! Beach chairs are collected at 5:00. Very disappointed since we paid $$$$ to stay at this hotel. I would not stay here again in Peurto Rico. Beautiful but overpriced.

Ok hotel for the price

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Cons: the hot tub wasn't hot and the workers shut it down early every night. Also, they say they have chairs and towels and umbrellas for you at the beach, but they are always "out". We went to the beach on a completely empty day and no one was there to even help us. The concierge was not helpful at all and told us to do our own research online.

Night before Curise

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Pool, services, room was huge and very comfortable.
Cons: We loved it all.
Location: Didn't do much as we went straight to crusie port the next day.
pleasantly surprised with all the hotel has to offer. excellent service, beautiful rooms, magnificent pool that feels like you are in a resort on the beach, buffet breakfast included and complimentary cocktails for a couple our hours in the evening. We will definately go back.

The free breakfast is amazing. The free appetizer & drinks from 530-730 ok. Free drinks great but I'd scrap the "appetizers" since they're just burnt popcorn & tortilla chips w/ salsa & ranch. They turn off the filtered water if its not Happy hour or bfast which annoyed me a bit. Super close to airport and beach is w/in walking distance Phone jack in bedroom was broken requested it to b fixed on day 1 It was not fixed during my whole 4 day stay. Jacuzzi was also broken and overflowing which made the beautiful but unheated pool less enjoyable. The hotel does not provide any food options after 11 but the front desk was kind enough to help us order delivery. Dissapointed they dont have an airport shuttle. Cab ride will run you $15-$30 OW depending on time of day, # of passengers and pieces of luggage Highly recommended self parking over valet parking. The garage is maybe 10 yards from side exit via covered walkway. Save urself the extra $6 a day Gym had free weights awesome! Overall nice place w some great perks and value especially for families.
