Nice hotel close to beach, restaurants

Only complaints: hotel/resort doesn't screen out non guests from use of pool area. Lounge chairs get scarfed up early. Resort fee cost me an extra $325/ week I had to pay at checkout.

Very nice place

Nice hotel, on the beach Near to Old San Juan Excellent Mattress The pool is perfect and there was a lot of chairs on the beach and at the pool Unfortunatly our room was available only at 5:00, it is late But it was a very nice room with the view on the beach We took only breakfast there, the food was ok but quite expensive

Winter getaway

Pros: The staff was wonderful. The transformation for the New Year's Eve party was excellent!
Cons: We arrived at 4 but didn't get our room until 6.
Location: Great location-much to do within walking distance
Initial frustration with check in but after that our stay was wonderful.

Spent new years at La Concha & it definetely lived up to out expectations. Love the decor, La Perla Restaurant was lovely and all the staff accomodating. Thank you for helping ur ring in the year with a bang!

Great hotel in great location

This hotel is located in Condado. 15 min from the airport. 10 min in Taxi to Old San Juan. Great New Years Eve Party. Rooms are spacious with a great closet. I had an ocean view room which didn't have a kitchen. They have suites available with kitchen. They have 4 pools one of which is adults only. Different restaurants available. Great hotel! Will go back!

not what we expected

The neighborhood was basically a slum with homeless people, stray dogs and abandoned buildings left and right of the hotel. The beach is unswimmable. The lobby turns into a nightclub so beware if you are traveling with kids and want them to sleep. Not enough pool chairs for amount of people in the hotel and the service was not great. The food wasn't good either. We actually switched hotels.

Beach resort close to restaurants

A resort experience with multiple pools and a sandy beach. Staff was professional and attentive. Location was great as there were many restaurants within walking distance, including breakfast options if you didn't need the $25 hotel breakfast buffet. Burger and sushi fare available poolside. The $0.75 city bus into old San Juan stops at the hotel. Plan a full day of walking to explore old San Juan.

Comfortable stay in the nice condado district. Food in the hotel is expensive but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We liked cafe del angel right across the hotel where you get local puerto rico food and felt fresh and home made. CVS and Walgreens are close by so if you want to save on breakfast get milk and cereal etc from there. Concierge Danny was great. He booked great tours for us with reliable companies.

Not enough chairs at poolside. Impossible to enjoy

Guests were not provided sufficient chairs by pool or beach yet charged $50 a day for hotel amenities. Bogus charges on final bill which had to be fought to be removed. Staff friendly but unhelpful. Room cleanliness was so so. Would not recommend staying there. No chair to sit in room.
