Great stay as always

Great room with a quiet stay. Never a disappointment! From the glass of wine and cookie at checkin, to the free apple juice in the room, we always feel welcome!

Apple Farm is always a great place to stay.

Warm, friendly staff, good restaurant, beautiful rooms and hallways in the main building, cookies, wine, a pool, and a jacuzzi! What more could one ask for?

blast from the past

Posted May 20, 2014
This hotel thrilled our parents who are in their 70(s) and the facility is such that it would appeal to that generation. It's very dated and frilly with flower wallpaper and doilies... Everything was reasonably comfortable just very old school. Some might say quaint, but outdated may be a better word. The rooms were expensive for the amenities and the food was basic at the restaurant on site and also pricey. Was impressed by the chocolate chip cookies out for guests which really did taste like homemade. Nice thought put into having cider and scones and the cookies at check-in and throughout the day. We accomplished our goal by pleasing the family traveling with us to see a Cal Poly student in town, but certainly wouldn't go back under other circumstances.

Perfect Accomodation

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Comfy beds, staff very hospitable, airport shuttle, free parking, lovely gardens, restaurant on site, easy access to downtown & freeway,
Location: 10 minutes to downtown, great restaurants, drove to Morrow Bay, 20 minutes away. Loved Big Sky for Organic Food & Novo for their patio creekside.
Stayed in April & May, great boutique hotel, staff courteous, Jeff, lent a hand in picking me up @ the airport, also overheard a convo with another staff member saying how great the owners are to work for - hands down - that's important to me too to know management treats their staff well, it shows, keep up the good work! Good food in the restaurant - they offered $ 5.00 off coupons which was gracious.

Short, but sweet.

Pros: Charming, clean and friendly staff. We didn't stay long enough to get to know the place well.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: We were visiting my grandaughter at Cal Poly. We toured the campus, had dinner downtown and had a fabulous ice cream sandwich at Batch.
Very nice! My only objection would have been that I heard later from a friend that she stayed there for less than half of what we paid. On the flip side, the Apple Farm was ten times better than the motel we stayed in the two nights before for the same amount. SO BAD! Nice breakfast at the Apple Farm!!

Great Place to Stay!

Pros: Clean, great staff, offer wine and coffee at all hours.
Location: SLO Farmers Market a must see. The Historical Museum very interesting on how SLO developed into today's city.
We enjoyed our visit and compliment the helpful staff. The wine tasting even is a plus where you meet other travelers and share helpful travel information.

Beautiful hotel with all of the amenities.

Nice staff, clean, cute rooms. Quaint decor and all kinds of complimentary gifts. I thought this place was going to be kind of hokey, but from the complimentary wine, cookies and lemonade upon check-in to the martinelli's sparkling cider and bottled water in the room, I was thoroughly impressed. Wine tasting reception for guests was like a free happy hour around the corner from the pool area where the water wheel created a beautiful back drop. Staff was on top of their game when I asked for extra towels at the front desk they beat me to the room with them. I will definitely be staying here again.

Central to everything

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: It is cozy and reminded me more of a bed and breakfast but with the services and privacy of a hotel. The flowers and decor are like an English cottage
Cons: I really can't think of anything. They offer free wifi which went down once during our stay.
Location: We had a great time at this hotel which was central to everything we wanted to see and everyplace we wanted to go including Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Ca
I had a great weekend on California's central coast with my best girlfriend. We just wanted a basic hotel room as base for a long weekend of sightseeing but we actually spent a large part of our 3 days at this hotel because it turned out to be so comfortable. When we checked in we noticed they had spa services so we booked massages and I must say it was the best I have ever received! The gift shops and dining were first class. Each room has free wifi and a fireplace, complimentary apple juice and bottled water. Also they have homemade cookies and coffee in the lobby.

A very comfortable stay

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: The atmosphere , the decor, the staff( happy and relaxed) and the bakery! And very quiet rooms, couldn't hear people next door or in hallways .
Cons: A light breakfast could be included in the room price or a fridge in the room.
Location: Handy to freeway, close to town, great eating places within walking distance.
Our whole ( one night) stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, from check in to check out. This place has character and personality. Our room was welcoming and very comfortable. The afternoon wine tasting was relaxed and a treat. The bakery goods are too die for, my mouth is still watering for their cinnamon scrolls !
