“San Luis Obispo Wonderful Hideaway”

The view is gorgeous, the room was very clean, the bathroom was also very clean. This room was truly a non-smoking room. The carpet was clean, the beds were comfortable and clean, the smell of the room was refreshing no smell of cigarette smoke whatsoever. All amenities worked, i had a very restful night.

“What a Find!”

What a great find in San Luis Obispo! The bathroom was huge, a big plus for two girls traveling together. Large room, mini refrigerator, and breakfast in the morning. We'll definately be back.

“Clean and simple”

We stayed one night on our way through and for that purpose I can't really fault this place. The room was clean and spacious and came with complimentary internet. There was a good but basic complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning. The person at the check in counter was friendly and helpful.

“Would definitely go back”

Only complaint was loud neighbors, don't know if they were in room next door or outside our window. Noisy til 12:00am

“Nice bathroom, rest of hotel pretty standard”

The Best Western in San Luis Obispo was the third such hotel I stayed in whilst travelling through California. It was situated about fifteen minutes from the centre of the town and had plenty of free parking in front of the rooms. Our room was a good size and was comfortable and clean. The bathroom in particular was very nice; much bigger than the bathrooms hotels of this nature generally have, with a nice wooden floor and very clean, new tiles. It looked to have been refurbished fairly recently. The staff were friendly and were happy to sort out a problem we had with our room keys. There was a breakfast provided in the morning which was nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. This is a nice enough place to stay if you're not looking to spend a lot but want a clean, cheap room for a couple of nights.

“Good location”

The room was clean and comfortable and the inclusive breakfast was simple but good. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was within walking distance of downtown San Luis. Good value.

“Good Option”

Hotel was as advertised and it was less than a mile to walk for food and entertainment. There was some construction on the road leading to the hotel which forced you to walk on the street.

“An adequate place to sleep”

If you seek a moderately priced room to sleep in while going about you business in SLO, this will meet your needs. Positive Comments: Plenty of parking, Big shower (but no tub), close to downtown and freeway (but no freeway noise), adequate continental breakfast. Negatives: Only one, the air conditioner was a bit loud.

“It's good”

The room is good to stay and the service is good.

“Basic hotel...nothing fancy”

The hotel was dated, but nice. Our room was clean. Nothing fancy...but a reasonable place to spend one night in town while visiting the local college. Walls were a bit thin and I could hear the folks in the room above us when they walked around their room. Street noise was minimal, but parking is right outside the rooms so you could hear folks coming and going whenever they started their cars.
