“Nice Getaway”

If you are looking for a nice and very romantic getaway, this is it! We had the Oceanview room with a fireplace and ceiling fan. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The decor was very nice. I am looking forward to returning soon.

“Wish we could have stayed longer!”

What a nice place...I wish we would have planned more time to spend there. The rooms were so clean, the view was fantastic and staff were great. We will be back.

“Great little hotel, with great access town”

The hotel is in a wonderful location right in highway one with easy access to downtown Carmel By The Sea, and practically shares a parking lot with the BarnYard Shopping center!!! The rooms were very modern and very clean. My husband, me, my little sister, and my 4 year old shared one room with plenty of space.

“Wonderful experience!”

This Inn was even more than we expected. Perfect location with comfortable chairs for ocean viewing, a lovely breakfast, and the most comfortable beds ever! Rooms were clean and generously supplied with lots of towels and pillows. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back, and would recommend this inn to anyone. It was charming and delightful!

“Great place - would definitely go back!”

Nice rooms (though a little dark), comfortable beds. Only problem was that the carpet wasn't vacuumed perfectly. Lovely grounds. Ocean view room was great, though the windows were a little smaller than we expected. I mentioned very small problems, but overall we had no complaints and would definitely stay there again. Very pleasant stay.

Wow, what a great find! "Cottage Inn by the Sea" is a gem! I definitely recommend paying the extra fee for an "ocean view" room. The view was STUNNING, the comfy bed was heavenly and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves and cool, fresh ocean air breezing through the window was absolutely blissful. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful in making suggestions for local attractions. The complimentary breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit & waffles was also a nice "extra touch." I can't wait to go back!

Excellent price and excellent quality! Very reasonable and available for one night stay on even a busy graduation weekend on the central coast. Excellent condition and really quaint with a fireplace, comfy beds, and ocean views.
