Not worth $180 per night.Posted Aug 10, 2014
Hotel staff very friendly. Our room smelled like a skunk and a pair of dirty pants were left behind a chair for I don't know how long. Over all hotel is ok but not worth the daily rate.

Pros: Clean, up-to-date, lots of power outlets. Easy access to Rte. 101.
Cons: Breakfast was filling enough, but the "spongy" scrambled eggs (presumably from bulk egg whites) could be better.
Location: About an hour's drive from UC Santa Barbara... a good late-night stopover that still allows us to make it to UCSB for morning engagements.
Convenient to our travel plans. Friendly staff. No issues. A little more money than we really wanted to spend, but not too bad at the time we booked.

Traveling Salesman's Stay in the Fairfield InnPosted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Clean, quiet room, great breakfast area and food selection.
Cons: Move the towels closer to the shower.
Location: Its 10 minutes from Pismo Beach and 25 to San Luis Obispo. Great towns to eat, shop, and hit the beaches.
I had a very comfortable stay in the Fairfield Inn -Santa Maria. Great wireless connections, comfortable clean room, and good breakfast in the morning. Great place to stay and easy access to 101.

Good weekend stay at the Fairfield InnPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness and good service
Cons: The odor in the room was unpleasant. It might be a good idea to change the air filters or spray some carpet odorizer.
Location: The beach is about a 20-25 minute drive and there's plenty of standard eateries close by.
Staff was super friendly and efficient. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Complementary breakfast was good with freshly made waffles, eggs, biscuit's and gravy, assorted break and pastries, fruit, and coffee. I got a single King bed and the room was a little small but had everything I needed. It did have an unpleasant smell when we walked in but nothing too bad worth complaining about. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. It was a pleasant stay and it was close to everything I needed. I'd recommend it for a quick weekend trip.

The hotel was Great, and the Staff was excellantPosted Jul 8, 2014
Cons: Make a specific dining area for the breakfast crowd. I had to pass on all three meals, as it wasn't worth the hassle. Didn't get my monies worth.
Everything was really nice. Didn't visit the pool, so I can't comment on that. Every staff member I had contact with were extremely friendly and helpful. I plan on staying in this hotel everytime I visit the area. You'll be pleasantly surprised, as we were.

The staff were polite, the place was comfortable , the wifi was fine. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre. The description should state microwave and fridge available on request. However, they did provide them free of charge when asked. I would stay there again
