“Expected more for this price”

If I wanted a nice, medium-quality hotel next to the freeway in a residential-adjacent neighborhood, this would be it. For the price, though, we were underwhelmed. We had a pleasant reception when we checked in, and the room was nice. The adjustable bed was, well, adjustable, but the pillows were little and squishy. The view looked over the parking lot, and then the freeway. We spent as little time in the room as possible and spent most of our time at the cute Pismo Beach community and restaurants.

“Good nights rest”

Very spacious and comfortable room with comfort adjustment on the bed, which the wife said it was her best nights sleep out of all the hotels we had stayed at prior, and I agree.

“Beautiful New Hotel with exceptional landscaping, and modern features.”

Although this wasn't our first choice of hotels, we might actually stay there on our next visit. The hotel was very, very clean and had modern features like new excercise equipment and nice pool area. It's literally right off the highway so we had easy access to all of our activities.

“Great hotel!”

This hotel was perfect for us and our 2yr old son. The room was very large and clean. Our son liked the pool area! Definitely going back soon!

“"Stayed two nights but only 1 was great"”

I really do like this hotel. It has a relaxing ambiance with a friendly staff. My complaint was the air conditioning the first night. When we checked in we weren't told the air conditioning wasn't working properly. We went out two hours and when we came back it wasn't fixed. We were told in an hour, in an hour. It was hot, very stuffy and was not fixed until the following morning. We only had two nights there so we felt we lost one of them. The general manager did apologize and offer us free breakfast the morning we left. I personally will not go back but I would recommend it to others.

Area recommendations

Down town was fun. Our favorite restaurant was Thai Talay on Price Street. Great tasting food, wine and good service.

“Great Hotel”

This hotel is clean and very family oriented. The pool and spa area had a great view for the Pismo 4th of July firework show.

Beach area, Spalsh has the best clam chowder.

“Nice, but overpriced”

The hotel is well maintained enough. The rooms are a nice size and are clean. It is right off the highway, but is very quiet. I have no actual complaints about the hotel, but it is very expensive for what you get. For the price, I was expecting an ocean view, free breakfast, complimentary stuff, etc. I've stayed at upscale luxury hotels and charming beds and breakfast places for the same price. So, although you can get more for your money elsewhere, the hotel is very clean, safe, comfortable, and convenient.
