Kids of the peoe who run the ace were screaming and playing outside my room until 11:00 at night. Told them several times to stop and kept going I called office and no answer. The place needs a maintanace over haul. There was even a missing seal in the celing fan in the bathroom you can see the roof.

horriblePosted May 29, 2012
Office reaked of cat urine and incense. Once i was in the room i felt like i needed a shower. Microwave didn't work and freezer portion of fridge had what appeared to be mold. In one of the dresser drawers there was a pair of boxers. Don't stay here. I had to stop and buy bedding from walmart just to make my girlfriend comfortable enough to sleep in the bed.

Cons: The smell and lack of air conditioning.
The owner was nice but as we checked in the sewage line busted. So off and on we would smell sewage. Never felt OK to keep the window open while we slept and there was no air conditioning. So it was both stuffy and hot.

Extremely Bad!!Posted Aug 30, 2011
This room was a very bad experience for me and my family. The room smelled so bad had to ask for room spary...did not help, did not want to touch anything or take showers, did not sleep all night....very noisy neighbors. We had made reservations for 2 nights but cancelled early the next morning and stayed in another Hotel, the Quality Inn....very very nice after such a bad experience at the Holiday Motel!!!!!! I do not recomend the Holiday Motel to anyone!!!!!

Worst Motel Ever!!!Posted Jul 19, 2011
We pull into the driveway to tons of people outside being loud and drinking and this was at 4pm. Apparently, they "Lived" at the Motel. These people were arguing and loud until 4am. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable! No air conditioning and it was hot in July! There was mold all over the shower curtain and a hole that had been punched in the wall of the shower! The bath tub filled up with water when you took a shower and the sink did as well anytime you used it! The TV channel guide pamplet listed tons of channels but you couldn't watch over 20 of them and of course the cartoon channels for my kids were the ones we couldn't watch! The dresser drawers were broken and wouldn't close! It was the worse Motel I have EVER stayed at and I will never stay there again! Please avoid this disaster!

With minimum expetations we had we were ok but definitely not ecstatic....Posted Nov 30, 2010
It was absolutely the least expensive place near Pismo Beach I could find via online so I had least expectations. I expected the place would be old and not fancy... I wanted to save money for dining, activities, etc. So we survived ok. I had two problems 1) shower handle came off..... we could manage using the shower but it was not right 2) the room has only one ceiling light so it's dark, one of the two bulbs were dead so it was even darker. I told about these two problems to the manager and asked him to fix.... nothing was done. I went to him again and asked, he said he would take care of the next morning (the day we are departing)... too late. So again I would expect the least with this price but if something is broken and asked to repair I expected to be taken care. Again I am very reasonable so we were ok but I doubt that many people (middle class) would be comfortable staying here.

Good bed, scary bathroomPosted Sep 15, 2010
Room was fairly clean. Comfy beds and good pillows. But the bathroom had mold around the shower and was in serious need of updating/cleaning...

next time, we'll either make the drive home to our CLEAN house or fork out more money for something that doesn't resemble a drug den with rooms rented by the hour.

Very old, needs update!Posted Jul 14, 2010
Although it's looks very cozy from the outside, the room we stayed in was very old and definitely needs remodeling. Especially the bathroom and sink tiles. The room was clean, the bed was okay. The room was also kind of small, but I guess almost every motel room is like that (we stayed in a few on our trip). It would have been nice to have room for our suitcases, but we managed. The hotel receptionist was very nice. We didn't have towels in the room, when we asked for them, he got them straight away and apologized. Over all, I guess it was okay, but I think there are better, more expensive motels out there. If you like a cheap motel, this one is okay.
