Visiting vineyards

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Rooms, bathroom, fireplace and location
Cons: Restaurant menu and room service
Location: Visit all amazing vineyards in the area and don't miss Castoro, Greg would be your best host!
This hotel was even more than expected. Upon check in, Rae at the front desk told us all about the vineyards in the area and handed us many free tasting cards. She was really pleasant and friendly. Our room was huge, beautiful and with a really nice fireplace. We had a large and super comfortable bed and the coffee in the room was great! The bathroom was brand new, all marble and with a large rain shower. The hotel is located right in the middle of the vineyards, it could have been better located. Castoro Vineyard, Opolo and Eberle were our favorite places that we visited. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the restaurant menu. It only had very expensive entrees and no choices of sandwiches or salads for dinner. I called for room service and asked if I could order from the lunch menu instead of the dinner menu and they said no.

Great place from start to finish

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable and room quiet.
Cons: Northing I can think of.
Location: Wineries in every direction.
Checked in on a Friday and checked out on Sunday. The staff was great, the room clean, the bed super comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect temp and open 24 hours a day, and outdoors. There was a lot of attention to detail, everything was well thought out from the chocolates on our pillows to the live plants in the room.

Luxury prices without the ammenities.

Pros: The people who work there are very nice.
Cons: They should market it as it is in reality. It is directly off the 101. It is more of a roadway stay.
We were looking at many amazing hotels where the rooms were $300-$400 a night. We came across the photos of Bellasera and decided to come to Paso Robles. We travel a lot, so I knew what to look far at that price point and the photos on line are there to look good, but the location, rooms and overall service is much more like a motel than a higher level hotel. The rooms are dated. The hotel restaurant is charging top dollar, but can't deliver any type of ambiance. Room service is the same price, but they could bring water even though we paid $300 for dinner. It is delivered on a tray...no table or cart. The people who worked there were nice enough, but we wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great place, great price.

After a disappointing stay at the Disneyland Hotel earlier in the week, we decided to take a trip to Paso Robles. We stayed in a 2-room suite with a whirlpool tub. The room had great amenities, including a stocked mini fridge and toiletries not normally available in the room unless you ask (toothbrush, sewing kit, face wipes, etc). The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful Property with Well Appointed Rooms

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Knowledgeable staff, comfortable rooms and convenient to "the square" in downtown Paso.
Location: Easy access off the freeway. If we had stayed longer, it would have been a perfect location as "home base" for going out to wineries.
I stayed one night at this lovely hotel and actually wish I was staying longer. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was amazing (love the huge shower!) and the bed was very comfortable. And the staff was very attentive and informative. The next time I'm in wine country I will definitely stay here.
