Location!

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Some areas ( e.g. stair cases ) need a touch up.
Location: Wine tasting.
Nice hotel. But some areas need a little cosmetic improvement. Pool and hot tub are nice. Location: Tasting rooms and restaurants at walking distance. Free parking / free WLAN ( good speed ).

Thank you for commenting on your recent stay with us! Our hotel is located in the down town area of Paso Robles so we are a perfect location for site seeing and wine tasting. Our housekeeping staff does their best to keep our historic rooms clean and comfortable for each of our guests to enjoy, and most of our rooms overlook our beautiful gardens, koi ponds, and chef gardens. Thank you for your comments and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Room was nice retro. For people the that complain about the sulfer smell here. Note, that the smell is from the hot springs in the area and not from sewage.

Thank you for commenting on your recent stay with us. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your room, and I appreciate your comment about our sulfur spa’s and the smell that accompanies it. Our entire town is located above a natural mineral hot spring, and when our Inn was founded in 1889, the owners tapped this spring to provide our guests with the great healing benefits that come from the natural properties in the water, and we are glad to be able to continue to provide our guests with this private mineral water experience today! Thank you for your comments and we look forward to seeing you again.

Nice Hotel in Downtown Paso

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Sheets
Location: Wine tasting near by, lots of restaurants and shops!
Loved the location, it was in downtown Paso Robles, right across the street from a park that was surrounded by restaurants and shops. We had made reservations for dinner and were able to walk to the restaurant. Our room was almost perfect. It had a fireplace, whirlpool tub, shower, and air conditioner with remote (loved the remote)! Everything was clean and neat. The room was very comfortable and had ample space and seating. The towels were thick and soft. My only complaint was the sheets were a bit rough for my taste. All in all, I will definitely be back!

Thank you for commenting on your recent stay with us at the Paso Robles Inn! I am glad to hear that you were able to thoroughly enjoy our down town area and all of the amenities that were in your room. The fireplaces in the rooms make for an ambient setting while keeping the rooms warm and cozy. The whirlpool tubs are definitely popular among our guests! I am sorry to hear that your sheets were rough. I will be bringing this up with our housekeeping manager as soon as possible. Thank you for reviewing your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Good ambience, bad deal...

Room looked nice, well equipped, nice location Problems: - room wasn't ready when we arrived, argued and got an upgrade - but then there were crickets (a bunch of them) on the bed - foul smell when we opened the jetted-tub taps -- had to give up nice hot jacuzzi

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us. I am glad that our hotel was located in a great location for you, just across from the city park in the middle of our downtown area. I am sorry to hear that there was a problem during the check in process with your room not being ready on time, and there being crickets in the room. Typically our housekeeping staff is phenomenal and we always have our rooms ready by 4pm at the latest. Our upgraded rooms do have mineral spas which feature water from a mineral hot spring located beneath our property, which does possess a sulfur like smell. I am sorry that our mineral spa was not the experience that you were looking for, but I am glad that our front desk staff was able to accommodate you in moving you to a room without the mineral spa tub. Thank you for commenting on your stay with us, and we hope you enjoy each of your future visits to the Paso Robles area.

Lobby staff and smell

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Historic building on the square of Paso Robles
Cons: Smell in the lobby and friendliness of the staff when we check in and check out. They don't even look at you.
Location: Very nice restaurants and welcoming people.
No hello. No thank you. No smiles. Just doing their job. Smelly lobby. Sewage problems?

Thank you for commenting on your recent stay with us. I am pleased to hear that you did enjoy our historic hotel located in the center of our great town! I am very disconcerted to hear about your experience with our staff. Our front desk associates are very familiar with the area and typically try to tell our guests which wineries are their favorite and ensure that our guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay upon check in. I do appreciate your comment about your lackadaisical check in with our staff so that I can address this with my staff. Our lobby area does sometimes contain a faint odor from our sulfur springs because some of the piping does run through the main lobby building behind the front desk. I do apologize if this odor bothered you at all. I do appreciate your comments and hope that you do enjoy your future visits to the beautiful city of Paso Robles.

The location of the hotel is perfectly situated...

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The area and the grounds.
Cons: Beds are springing and hard. Didn't sleep well!
Location: Plenty of resteraunts within walking distance and new wine tasting bars. A little sleepy after 8pm unless it's the weekend.
We love the location if you want to go out to dinner in the town square area and not drive! The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. No extra charge for parking.

Perfect location

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: We were not able to get any of the regular TV Channels (2, 4, 7, 5, 9, 11). By the time we were attempting to use TV, there was no staff on duty.
Location: Wine Tasting, wine tasting, wine tasting.
We love staying at the Paso Robles Inn. There are a multitude of Restaurants and Wine tasting rooms within walking distance. This time was just a one night stay on the way home from Lake Tahoe, but we usually stay several days and do wine tastings with The Wine Line.
