Get what you pay for

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Just a place to pull off the 101 and sleep. Rooms not particularly clean. Staff kind of fearful of people. We had a shower that was spraying water everywhere except forward. All over the newly redone bathroom; mold behind the tile on the way very soon. A dunk in some clr would have fixed it in a few minutes, but alas no. No shower curtain. So spray we did, soaking wet floor every time. I'd look for a different budget motel my next stay in Paso. Did find a great new small winery, Nadeau. So it was not a wasted two days.

Place to rest your head with a reasonable rate.

Posted Nov 27, 2014
If you want to just rest your head and pay a reasonable rate this is better than Motel 6. It had a microwave, refrigerator, a comfortable bed and Wi-Fi which works if you only need to shower and sleep as you explore the wineries, the town of Paso Robles.

Not a pleasant experience

Posted Oct 23, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Expedia should look at the premises before putting them on their list of hotels to be booked.
Location: Worst location of town, ran down places around. The town is not too big and is beautiful. We were able to drive to anywhere we liked.
Worst location in town. Dilapidated place, being restored. I wish I could send pictures I took of the dirty, old and supposedly already remodeled room. Office was broken into at the crack of dawn; we thought workers were starting that early. Later, we found out that it was a guest who was trying to inform the clerk of a fire outside his room. My cell phone was in the car charging; we were afraid and I didn't dare go out even though I was watching the individual (mentally challenged) break a window and going in the office. As soon as he was in, we retrieved our phone and called the police, who were very prompt and efficient in calling fire department and arresting the individual. I have booked through Expedia many times and I would think about doing this again as I cannot trust the caliber of hotels offered by them.

Horrible.

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Cons: Everything.
Location: Nothing.
Hotel did not match online images. We were completely misled. The shower did not work - at all. The beds did not have sheets. There were disgusting stains and markings everywhere.

Nice for the price paid

The room was clean, but the towels were stained. They may have been clean, but you don't expect spots in a hotel towel. We arrived late, but the reservation was ready and the service was prompt.
