“Wish we had have stayed longer”

Great hotel, friendly staff, suite was spacious and nice. Would recommend the BBQ and the breakfast.

“hot tub!”

We enjoyed our stay here with 2 little kids. The rooms are contemporary and clean, breakfast cafe is nice, had the wine and fruit in the evening as well. YOu cal walk everywhere from your hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub on a very chilly evening.

“Great Hotel in SLO!”

The hotel is a short drive from the Farmer's Market. The rooms were quiet and clean. The beds were firm and comfortable. When requested a crib for our baby, the hotel staff delivered and set it up immediately. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent! Make sure you try the breakfast burritos. The front desk area has a gift shop with free DVD rentals. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel!

“Very good value”

Great value and comfortable hotel - free beer and wine and cheap but good bbq in evening (great steak sandwich and salad for $6 )+ comp. breakfast which is also very good. Highly recommend.

“Comfortable hotel with some very nice touches!”

I recently stayed for 2 nights with my daughter checking out the Cal Poly campus. The hotel itself is "nice enough". The room was impeccably clean, well laid out even if a bit too narrow, and furnished adequately. Nice to have 2 rooms and the additional working door between the living/sleeping areas is a plus. The most outstanding features of the hotel, though, were the extra "touches" at various levels: the evening wine bar (free no less), the outdoor BBQ- inexpensive, good food, well-attended with outdoor heaters; nice breakfast with plenty of options; and, numerous chairs and tables grouped throughout the property at random seemingly calling me to read or relax outside. Finally, guest service was friendly, helpful and genuine. Good hotel, great perks, wonderful service!

“"Could not think of going anywhere else"”

As I said before it is just a travelers dream to stay in such a wonderful place. It is maintained so very well for it's age. We have stayed there many times in the past and will continue to do so. It is close to downtown, and the trolley stops right out front to go to the Street Fair or Farmers Market. Everything is always done right at this Hotel. We will be back.

We were very impressed at the atmosphere and beauty of the lobby, grounds, and rooms. Bed very comfortable.

“Most of the Comforts of Home”

I've stayed at this location several times now and find it to be convenient, comfortable, and clean. The rooms are designed well and are a decent size and the price is generally a great bargain. I particularly like that the vanity sink is outside the shower area so it's possible for two people to get ready at the same time. The beds are comfortable. Even the pullout sofa is comfortable. The fresh cooked breakfast has a good variety of items for a "quicky" breakfast. Overall, I've been very pleased with this particular location each time I've stayed here and plan to continue staying here during future visits to the area.
