“Will go back the next time we are in town!”

Very clean room, reasonable rates and good amenities. There is a 24 hr. gift shop with free loaners from their dvd library. We had a roomy suite with 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa in the sitting room, plenty of room for six. Full breakfast, wifi, and a complimentary managers reception each evening with beer and wine included in the room cost. Bathroom was Very clean. located just a couple of minutes from CalPoly.

“Free Happy Hour and Shuttle to downtown!”

A fabulous find just a short walk from downtown. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. I was surprised to find out that they have a Free Happy Hour nightly, shuttle to downtown and DVD rental! On the weekends there is a grill with grub for under $6. What a great deal! Oh and did I mention the 2 firepits and the huge FREE breakfast area!

“Would go back next time in SLO”

We really liked the room. Plenty of space and it was very clean. Bed was comfy. We also liked the two fire pits in the courtyard. They have made this a very friendly, warm environment. Good for family groups. Generous pours at happy hour. Breakfast was good. No complaints here except it would have been good to be able to rent an "on-demand" movie in the room like the bigger hotels. They only rent movies from the gift shop. Other than that, it's a very comfortable place to stay.

“Glad to stay here.”

Check-in was quick. I was told of the hotel's amenities. They answered questions about getting around town and the farmers market. The trolley is right out the front door. Breakfast was bacon/sausage and eggs, with all the fixings. I would definitely stay here again and let others know. Very happy with our stay.

“Comfortable hotel with some very nice touches!”

I recently stayed for 2 nights with my daughter checking out the Cal Poly campus. The hotel itself is "nice enough". The room was impeccably clean, well laid out even if a bit too narrow, and furnished adequately. Nice to have 2 rooms and the additional working door between the living/sleeping areas is a plus. The most outstanding features of the hotel, though, were the extra "touches" at various levels: the evening wine bar (free no less), the outdoor BBQ- inexpensive, good food, well-attended with outdoor heaters; nice breakfast with plenty of options; and, numerous chairs and tables grouped throughout the property at random seemingly calling me to read or relax outside. Finally, guest service was friendly, helpful and genuine. Good hotel, great perks, wonderful service!

“Great Hotel in SLO!”

The hotel is a short drive from the Farmer's Market. The rooms were quiet and clean. The beds were firm and comfortable. When requested a crib for our baby, the hotel staff delivered and set it up immediately. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent! Make sure you try the breakfast burritos. The front desk area has a gift shop with free DVD rentals. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel!

“Best kept secret in San Luis”

We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed a week. Very clean, very friendly, over the top service. This is how a hotel should be run. We will be back!!!

Area recommendations

We went to the Thursday night farmers market which is within walking distance from the hotel and it was the best. Visited a few restaurants and were pleasantly surprised. We will come back when we can stay longer. Had a blast!!!

“Wonderful service & great location”

We really enjoyed our stay. The service was outstanding and exceptional for the price! Will definitely stay here again. Our teenage son was even impressed.

Area recommendations

Near downtown and also near the newer areas west of Highway 101, because there is a lot of restaurants, shopping, and the university is easy to get to.
