Nice hotel close to Downtown SLO.Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: It's location to downtown and the Apple Farm.
Cons: The air conditioner in our room was a bit noisy. Other than that the room was nice.
Location: SLO has many activities to participate in. We love Farmers Market on Thursday nights. The climb up Madonna Mountain is difficult but an amazing view.
We had a wonderful time in SLO and were able to experience the attractions for a reasonable cost. The Farmers Market on Thursday night was great. Climbing Madonna mountain and walking around Laguna Lake was fun. The access to the local wineries was a great draw to SLO. We brought the bikes and had fun biking into Downtown (but we were really close enough to walk). Everything is within a 2 mile radius in SLO. It's a very accessble town.

Nice Accommodations for the PricePosted Mar 17, 2015
Super 8 is convenient to the freeway without any freeway noise. Check-in was smooth. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast isn't fancy. It met our expectations, because we were pleased with the reasonable price.

Not up to Super 8 standards.Posted Feb 18, 2015
Cons: The high price is out of sync with the bare-bones lodging. There are cheaper alternatives nearby that are no worse.
Location: It's about a mile from the town of San Luis Obispo. It is walkable, although the only things nearby are other motels on the highway.
The man who checked me in was kind and professional. (Loren). However, the breakfast was beyond disgusting and the rooms were small even by cheap hotel standards. Another guest pointed out to the manager that the coffee had run out, as it had become nothing but a trickle of light-brown water. After denying it for a while, the manager finally agreed to check. When he opened the top of the machine, though, he revealed that it wasn't coffee at all. There was a box of syrup in there dripping into the water through a tube. My room was on the third floor (no elevator). I don't mind walking, even with luggage, but the steps near my room were broken and it was difficult to get over them safely.

The hotel was nice for a stop over. The bed was the stand out feature, very comfortable, which is a rarefind in a hotel for us. We slept well. The bathroom light came on automatically which was a major annoyance in the middle of the night. The room was nice over all....not too small and not too large. The TV was small though. The breakfast was minimal. We would stay again but seek out another place to have breakfast.
