This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is great. A couple of things we needed in the room, like an iron and an extra chair, were provided immediately. Sometimes, the traffic outside or some music across the street can be loud, but other than that, we are very satisfied. The people at the front desk were very courteous, as was our cleaning lady, Judith. We suggested adding a safety bar in the shower and a shelf under the sink to place the cosmetics since there isn't enough space on top of the sink. It was very easy to visit the seven temples during Holy Week. We have recommended this hotel to relatives and friends.

Pictures of rooms are deceptive, rooms are small Staff is helpful "enough", they definitely don't care to do anything above the bare minimum their job requires. Hotel wifi is spotty at best and staff say iPhones "have extra security" that doesnt allow them to connect to the wifi. The parking offered is on another property a few blocks aways and not on site.only saving grace is that the rooms offer AC, which the stadd INSISTS on turning off for yoy if you are not in the room.

El edificio es hermoso, muy céntrico y tranquilo. Tiene elevador, los cuartos son limpios y acogedores, con su baño completo, agua caliente; las camas son cómodas, tiene un pequeño clóset, escritorio, silla, aire acondicionado, WiFi; le falta más enchufes, sólo tiene 1 con dos entradas y 1 entrada en el baño.

We got one of the balcony room. It can get a bit loud due to traffic but overall it was a great room. Area is walkable with easy access to everything in the downtown area. Very recomended.

Muy bonito hotel edificio historico mantiene su escencia antigua al entrar,limpio agradable con todas las normas de higiene,seguridad 24 hrs las habitaciones muy limpias comodas baño amplio y eficiente cada recamara tiene una unidad de ventilacion la cual mantiene el cuarto a una temperatura muy agradable,lo mejor de todo la ubicacion a unos pasos de la calzada peatonal de Zaragoza que te llevara caminando a unos pasos por todo el centro historico donde podras encontrar comida antojitos de tu preferencia y comprar lo que necesites,el personal muy amable al entrar el check in sin ningun problema la persona que me atendio muy amable asi como el resto de los empleados el guardia las recamaristas en general toda una muy buena experiencia precio muy accesible y si 100 por ciento recomendable excelente.solo pediria un anuncio que indicara en la parte de afuera que has llegado a El Hotel San Francisco gracias y sii volveria a hospedarme ahi.

The city is pretty dirty, and the hotel was a nice, inexpensive reprieve right in the middle of the chaos.

Hotel is in the middle of downtown. 2 min walking to all great restaurants. Pretty balcony room. Street was a little noisy but not the hotels fault. Very friendly staff.

Great location but wouldn't stay again
Location and staff were great but there's a few things that made the room a bit uncomfortable. My room was freezing and my friends room was super hot. My room faced the street and had a lot of noise during the day and my friends room was away from the street and had a lot of noise at night. If I went to San Luis Potosi again, I would probably stay somewhere else with a more comfortable room.

The room I was in was spacious but rather dark. It also had old and worn carpet. Hopefully, the hotel will install laminate or tile flooring for all the rooms in the future. The hotel is in a really good location and has a restaurant on the ground floor.

Room was excellent. Good heating. Clean and modern bathroom. Nice street view. Comfortable bed. Nice restaurant. Friendly staff and night security at door. Excellent location in historic district. Close to main plaza and restaurants. Open to outside which made lobby cold. Very charming lobby with big Christmas tree.

The hotel is clean and well taken care of. It i well located and the staff is excellent. The problem is most rooms have ho external windows and are very stuffy. there is no air-conditioning and the rooms were very hot by day and night. with air-conditioning it should be a great place.

Nice but need some changes
The hotel is beautiful but the carpet in the rooms are very updated. The interior rooms are very claustrophobic. Always choose a room with a window. The internet connection is very bad. those changes in this hotel are necessary.
