The young lady at the front desk was extremely polite and helpful. The food at dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent.

“Really exceptional service”

Grand Hotal San marino is a modern hotel located directly outside the wall of the old city in San Marino. We had an emergency upon arrival (lost pusre) and I have never seen staff at a hotal jump into action as quickly or effectively as they did. This was charactersitic of the service throughout our two day visit. Excelelnt food and service in restaurant. Lovely view form our room, and help in getting to know the charming town.

“Stay in heart of San Marino”

When we checked in at the hotel we were told that there was a surcharge for parking which seemed a little steep. When we were shown our room in was on the back side with a view of the side of the road continuing up to the top. It was also a small dark room. We upgraded for an additional 33% to a room on the view side of the hotel. The room was larger, had a balcony and had a million dollar view. The hotel is right in the middle of all the action. Once you are there you are in the heart of San Marino. The staff was very accommodating. The wait staff at dinner was aloof. They doted on there regular customers and and seemed to ignore giving us the same service. The hotel is quiet, clean, first class. The staff was very helpful. Beware, the morning we were there we woke up in the clouds with rain. The million dollar view was gone. We were told that it clears up late morning to beautiful sunny days.
