Great Hotel!Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Titano. It is in a great location of historical city center and is withing walking distance to everything you could want to see in the old city. The restaurant attached to the hotel had great food as well as a spectacular view of the mountains/city down below. Our hotel room was a good size for Europe and was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was ready for us even though we arrived well before check in time! If you are going to be spending the night in San Marino, we would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: The location
Location: Interesting place
Had a short stay here whilst en route from Sorrento to Venice. Overall we were happy with the room. Breakfast, whilst not a large selection, was good. Parking is a bit of a hassle, and whilst we noted that there was a valet option, this wasn't offered. In addition, the wifi code provided only works for one device.

Great locationPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Location was ideal.
Location: Park outside the arched gate, don't drive into the pedestrian zone it's a traffic restricted zone. The hotel is only a block away and an easy walk.
Great location in the heart of the pedestrian zone. Adequately sized room with a small bathroom but sufficient for a night's stay. Lovely dining options and a pleasant breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. The views from the terrace restaurant were amazing. Great place to watch the sunset.

Loved the location of the hotelPosted Feb 10, 2011
Titano is located in the heart of the historical district which I found to be the most beautiful area of San Marino. The hotel is within a few blocks of some quirky museums that are worth stopping in (my favorite was the torture museum, a real eye opener to how far we have come in treating prisoners). There is a tourist office a few doors down from the hotel that will stamp your passport for a 5 Euro fee (a fun souvenir). This is not a party area if that's what you're looking for but they do have a pub and some cafes to stop in for some drinks. Try the local wines, they are amazing. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing. I drove there with no problems, it was easy to find.

PLACE TO STAY in San MarinoPosted Aug 3, 2007
The group that owns the Titano, also owns the San Marino GRAND Hotel. (Just 'DOWN' the block.) If you know San Marino you know the blocks in the Old City are ALL ramps leading to the Castles. In any case, the Titano is RIGHT IN THE HEART OF IT! My family and I stayed there for the Gironate Mediovale (Medieval Days) feast and were in the midst of all the action. The FOOD is great, and the Titano's Roof Top Restaurant is a just an Awesome place to dine/see the panorama.

Breath-taking views, perfect setting, great service!Posted Mar 10, 2007
San Marino is a destination that should not be missed. We were fortunate enough to be at the hotel in low season and landed a room with a fabulous balcony. Even without this the hotel is clearly a great place to spend your time, high quality rooms combine with excellent service and the world's friendliest dog greets you on arrival! Breakfast also top notch. Would love to go back.
