“Hidden Treasure”

Did not have the look pulling up but service food and the room were all great

“Awesome little hotel!”

I don't normally give a hotel five stars, but this one was such a pleasant surprise. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The decor and ambiance of the hotel and the rooms was eclectic and peaceful and the view from the dining room/lounge area and our rooms was breathtaking. The outside is deceiving so don't let that turn you off. You would never know from the outside how cool this place is! The only drawback is the cloud cover that tends to take over everything early afternoon. There was also a slight mildew smell in the room but I am sensitive to those types of smells and it really was not a problem. Food was excellent too, and very reasonable. Another caveat is that you are so close to the Volcano - just a few minutes drive away.

“Beautiful view!”

Gorgeous view, beautifully decorated rooms, good breakfast and nice hosts. And very close to the crater (10 mins away). Only downside was that they keep the heaters off to conserve energy (you can turn heater in room on but it takes a little while to heat and they ask you to not turn on while in bed... Beds are very comfortable and warm, but it was a very cold night when we stayed so a little uncomfortable). Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Did I mention the gorgeous views?

“Best view”

The view is amazing! We like it that they serve local food from the farms around. The breakfast room comes also with an super view. The hummingbirds come so close - the pictures are priceless!
