All you need for a business trip - but no extras

Pros: Room size, free underground parking, kind staff and location.
Cons: Restaurant, toiletries and some glam.
Location: There is a good Argentinean restaurant literally around the corner that saved my life while I was staying at the hotel.
The room size was fine. Large window. Comfortable bed and good bathroom (with bidet). Toiletries were scarce. I did not have breakfast but seemed all right (again, no luxuries). Restaurant was very well priced and food was just ok (but fine considering the price). The restaurant is not a 4 star (and does not work on Friday, Sat or Sundays -again that is not a 4 star hotel and they are obviously targeting the workers of offices around the hotel). Parking was always available and free (as it was Internet access). As my contacts are around the area, I would certainly consider using the hotel again as it is enough for my needs, but I have seen a lot much better than this one. It is a good 3 star hotel not a 4 star one.

Mediocre at best

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, at least an hour bus and metro ride into the city, and a 44 euro cab ride from the airport. The shuttle to and from the airport does not run on weekends, which is the only reason we picked this hotel. The rooms are dark, stuffy, and smell of stale cigarettes. The staff was nice but didn't speak much English. It's way too expensive for the type and location of the hotel. For the rest of the week we stayed at a hostel that was in the middle of the city, much nicer, cleaner and more colorful that was about half the price per night.

Great Place If You Like/Need Hard Beds

Posted Apr 2, 2008
We stayed in 5 other hotels in Spain. This hotel was on very high on the list for friendliness and cleanliness. It was the only one that had free parking. The online room rate was the cheapest. It did have a very nice, formal dining room, but we didn't use it. It was adjacent to a shopping mall with restaurants and a large grocery store. It was very convenient for travel to the Madrid Barajes airport because it was only 10 minutes away. The hotel has a little postcard with a map on it that they give you. The only bad thing was that the beds were rock hard and the blankets were very scratchy.
