The resort was great. Views of the ocean from our room and everything you needed was in the room and bathroom. The restaurant there was very good for dinner and breakfast. We would definitely recommend it to all.

It was awesome! The room was very cozy but modern at the same time. The beach was secluded with out door fire pits. The staff was very friendly. We would love to come back and stay longer for some quality down time.

This is our new favorite coastal getaway spot! A lovely location with a great view and a very private feel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. No "hustle and bustle" of typical coastal resorts; very quiet, relaxing, and tranquil; not crowded at all (we were there in April). Definitely recommend if you're looking for a romantic place to relax and escape.

So close to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal Rookery. Restaurant also very good. And enjoyed sitting by one of the three firepits during the evening.

“Hotel overlooks the ocean”

Nice Hotel. The grounds are on a ridge overlooking the ocean. At night they have fire pits which they light and you can sit outside listening to the ocean. The restaurant next door is good and reasonably priced. The room was nice. Ours had a fireplace since it can get chilly.The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty close to Hearst Castel which is one of the reasons we picked the hotel.

The view and sounds of the ocean from our room excited my wife to no end, if you know what I mean? Nice acommendations, friendly and helpfull hotel staff and great weather made made our visit unforgetable. I certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the San Simeon area.

“Noise Problem with Parking Lot Rooms”

Noise Problem with the rooms that front the parking lot. Since the hotel does not have AC (or even a fan), you must keep the windows open to get any air. Car HONKING at 6 AM. LOUD talking at 6:30. ALARM clock going off at 7 AM in another room, which was left and the alarm kept going. If the hotel had informed us of this problem, we would have made other arrangements. Also, the bed was not comfortable.
