Unexpected Pleasures... Beautiful BeachPosted May 17, 2015
We took our free glass of wine to the boardwalk on the beach. After a relaxing walk watching a spectacular sunset we had seafood next door. Then we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub, showered and slept well. Breakfast was delivered on a tray to our room. Feeling rested and rejuvenated we drove a few minutes arriving for an early tour of the Hearst Castle.

Accomodations are good, location great.Posted May 12, 2015
Location: View elephant seals, kite surfers. Hearst Castle short drive.
Rooms are very good. Walk across the street to ocean. Staff very friendly, enjoyed the cheese and wine happy hour with chance to visit with travelers from other countries. Opportunities for photography excellent. Short drive to view elephants seals, kite surfers in action. Town of Cambria has everything you might want. What's not to like?

Spectacular viewPosted May 10, 2015
Quaint outer appearance, friendly and helpful staff. Room was large with nice balcony overlooking the Pacific. Linens were excellent and pillows top shelf. Take a pass on the restaurant next door.

Nice hotel close to OceanPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Friendly reception staff. Free wine reception. Close to ocean.
Cons: Room air temperature.
Location: Visited Hurst Castle and saw the seals on the beach a few miles north of the hotel.
Very nice hotel. Comfortable with good staff. Side ocean views from our rooms still very good. Breakfast small but fresh food.

Not worth the pricePosted Apr 13, 2015
Clean motel, but overpriced for what you get. I had to pay extra just to get the advertised room.

Perfect getaway locationPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Location is amazing if you want to relax and walk on the beach.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Right on the beach. The town of Cambria is about 1 mile away, BUT we were there for the ocean.
The location is ideal!!! We stepped out and were on the beachwalk. Gorgeous view. Delicious breakfast (muffins, coffee, fruit, juice). Nightly cocktail hour. We will definitely go back

Great Location, sincere .helpful staffPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Location and the facilities themselves. It is right across from an entrance onto the boardwalk, Moonstone Beach restaurant & VanRhyn Gallery. ****
Cons: Not for us
Location: Ocean, glorious walking areas, good restaurants, art galleries, Hearst Castle, wine tastings at vineyards
Have stayed at one of the other Pacifica properties (The FogCatcher) which we enjoyed and decided to try Cambria Landings. Our original room did not have a balcony so we asked if one with a balcony was available. We were in luck and upgraded. It made a big difference, especially with the beautiful surroundings.

Central Coast GetawayPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Very quiet and well cared for. Evening reception was quite nice as well.
Location: Nice restaurant right next door, and many good choices nearby on Main street. The Moonstone walkway was great with fantastic ocean views and access.
Had a great stay across the street from Moonstone beach. Wonderful accommodation and the staff made us feel very welcome. The area restaurants were close by as well as quaint shops along main street. The Hotel was small in a very good way, easy to park and access the rooms.
