“Made us want to return with a pet!”

Older single-story family owned beachfront property with beautiful succulent gardens (the owner's son owns a local succulent nursery and gives discounts to guests!) and VERY spiffy, cozy, newly updated interiors with gas fireplaces. They advertise themselves as extremely dog-friendly and although we did not travel with one, quite a few of the other guests did. There was minimal audible barking or road noise from the nearby CA Hwy 1, which was equidistant from the rear of all the local hotels. A lot of local hotel competition along the Moonstone beachfront, many with newer two-story properties, but would not hesitate to choose this property again.

Great hotel for dog lovers. They cater to those that have dogs and genuinely seem to like them. Fantastic stay and loved the little amenities - like breakfast dropped off at your door, appetizers in the evening, and chocolate brownies at night. Great stay.

“Just my style”

We had a very warm welcome by Tim. He gave us good information about seeing the tide pools just across the street and specific restaurant recommendations. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and well stocked with supplies- coffee prep and toiletries. A basket with a light breakfast arrived at our door at 8 am and we enjoyed it on the front yard picnic tables while watching the pacific waves. The landscaping is beautifully planted with an amazing assortment of exotic succulents. I would love to return again.

This hotel has a friendly staff and has a great service for dogs.
