This place is our favorite when we stay in Cambria. The staff are very polite to the point you feel like your staying at a friends house. Room was very roomy and clean. The only thing we found out is that the breakfast wasn't included the final price when booking the room, which would of been 25.00. So make sure if you book through expedia you read the fine print. Or you can book directly through the Burton Inn's site and the price for the morning breakfast will be included. Other than that beautiful rooms and staff is excellent. Shops and restaurants are all walking close.

this hotel is so charming and perfect. my boyfriend and i booked a room with an ocean view. it was so nice to hear the ocean while we were sleeping. the bed was comfortable. i love the gas fireplace heater. the room was very spacious and clean. the bathroom is really big which i love. the water pressure is pretty weak but i understand it's because of the drought so they get a pass on that one. they have a continental breakfast with a good variety of breakfast items and they are close to a couple restaurants on moonstone beach. i really enjoyed the beach right across the street and having that beautiful stroll along the wood pathway. we will definitely be back again.

The rooms were pleasantly large and very comfortable. Loved having the fireplaces in both living room and bedroom plus a nice balcony. We were fortunate to have a balcony overlooking the wonderful holiday lights and hear the gentleman strumming and singing Christmas carols.
The staff was very nice and the food was pretty good.
However, I would suggest that you try to revamp your eating area for breakfast. There is too much traffic to get your food and get to your table with the coffee juice bar right in the traffic area.
But otherwise, we will sure recommend the Cambria Pines Lodge and hope to return again some time soon.

Clean room. Room for parking. Perfect distance less than 6 miles from either Hearst Castle, the Pier and downtown Cambria. Easy stroll on the beach access and 30 minutes or less to wine tasting. I even went to Paso Robles for a night out had dinner and watched a movie. Great place will go back.

"Quaint, friendly, affordable, who could want more?"
Family Owned and operated, impeccably clean, I highly recommend this little gem motel. Located at the first turn into Cambria, you can leisurely stroll anywhere and everywhere downtown. There's also an off leash dog park next door and the motel is pet friendly (a mere $15 charge).
