Great Central Coast StayPosted Feb 22, 2014
Great place to stay and a great staff to boot. Place is right of the beach. You have a bike bath, a wooden walk way and the beach to keep you active. Great location with attractions minutes away. Staff was awesome. Sonia and her manager couldn't have been any more joyful or helpful. Gave us things to do and local hints. We are coming back just to see them again.

Pleasant Experience !Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Excellent breakfast facility. Room was made up quickly. Gardens and birds were beautiful.
Cons: It would be nice to have a more complete description of the room heating system.
Location: We always enjoy walking on the bluffs near the motel, going to view the elephant seals, and Ragged Point.
We felt the staff were extremely courteous and competent. Our room and surroundings were excellent. Breakfasts were very good. The waffles were a a nice touch.

Comfortable HotelPosted Feb 7, 2014
Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was great. Enjoyed being right across from the beach. Hot tub is located in a corner of the parking lot which looks uninviting from the outside, but once inside the gate it is fine. Shrubs separate you from the parking lot. We walked to dinner.

Good location but disappointed...Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Near the beach.
Cons: Make sure all fireplaces work since its promoted as a feature; and give wake up calls as requested.
Checked in late (around 9pm) for one night only. Had pleasant conversation with the clerk about our drive up from Los Angeles and that we were heading to San Francisco. Mentioned that I specifically booked this motel because I love fireplaces, and there was a nice photo on expedia of a room with a cozy looking fireplace. After a late dinner, went back to the room to find that the fireplace did not work. The manager on duty could not get it going and stated that he would have to send the engineer to fix it the following day. So, no fireplace that night. I then requested a early wake up call so that we could get an early start on the road. In the morning, there was no wake up call. We had to rush to the dining area to take advantage of the breakfast before they closed, and then hit the road three hours late. When I asked the clerk about why we did not get our wake up call, she stated that it was probably due to the phone problems they had overnight...?

Cons: Need too put a small table in the bathroom so toiletries can be placed there. Had to put the makeup bag and my husband's toiletry bag on the tub back
Location: We went to the Hearst castle and walked not he beach.
Love, love, loved the hotel. It was very intimate and perfect. The fireplace and the Kerrigan coffee maker were a very nice touch. Linens were soft and comfy.

Lovely room with a view of the ocean.Posted Jan 10, 2014
We got "upgraded" at no extra expense. The room was spacious with a view of the ocean. The fireplace warmed us. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

Nice facilities across from beachPosted Jan 8, 2014
I would recommend this hotel. Nice and across from the beach. Exceptional was the hot breakfast each morning which was much beyond what I had expected. Also the wine tasthing in the evenings was very nice. We stayed in the newly renovated King rooms. I would stay there again.
