“Morgan Hotel, San Simeon”

Lovely room, fireplace, sounds of the ocean at night (you can't actually see the ocean, but you can hear it !) Very friendly staff, nice continental breakfast. Clean and well kept up. Would definitely stay there again !

“A hospitable hotel”

The receptionist is very hospitable. I am deeply impressed. the room is big and well fitted. The bed is comfortable. And wifi and parking are free that is very favourable to me. Besides, the breakfast is included. There is a swimming pool. Though it is not large, it is homothermal. The tempreture is 82 degrees F.

“We had the best time!”

Wonderful hotel; really comfortable bed and gorgeous outlook; atmosphere conducive to Hearst Castle visit; very convenient to beach, great restaurants and the Castle! The breakfast is very adequate but quite crowded; reconfiguration of the dining space and buffet type situation recommended; otherwise the perfect spot and would recommend it to everyone

“Morgan Hotel review.”

Hotel was great. The idea of The Morgan Hotel being named for the famous architect didn't register with me until I saw the beautiful architectural drawings from Hearst Castle framed and decoraing the walls inside the hotel. the continental breakfast could stand a little more variety.

“A good hotel near Hearst Castle”

Our room was a very nice size with a view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy. Everything was very clean. The small pool was heated and enjoyable after a long day in the car. We did have some problems with a large party of guests making noise at 1:00 am but management compensated us, and were gracious about the situation. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Great stop over on our drive up the PCH”

We were only here for a night on our way up the Pacific Coast Highway but really enjoyed the property. The pool is outdoors enclosed in glass and is heated, it was a nice place to sit back and relax. The breakfast is basic which was fine with us. Bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice. It was enough to get us through the drive up the coast highway. If we were to pass through this way again, I would definitely stay here. If you are driving north up the pacific coast highway definintely turn off about two miles up the road to see the elephant seals. It was one of the highlights of our drive. If you are driving south then turn around and go back two miles to see it because you missed an awesome sight!

“nostalgia”

great experience. very comfortable, one block walk to the ocean. lots of history connected with hearst castle on the walls. viewed elephant seals only five miles away---there were hundreds of them just twenty feet away from the boardwalk.
